Great throw. I have purchased Sage & Citrus candles for years but never get tired them. As soon as I open the box I am greeted with the fragrance. This fragrance fills your room with with clean warmth. The candle burns a long time. I trim the wick before I lite the candle to insure a clean burn.

YANKEE CANDLE LAVENDER VANILLA SCENTED, CLASSIC 22OZ LARGE JAR SINGLE CANDLE.This is a great calming scent to use in my larger candle warmer with the adjustable arm allowing for larger sized candles. We use this at night since the Lavender scent is powerful to use a couple of hours before bed to wind down so it’s helpful to aid when you want to fall asleep when your head hits the pillow. I can’t believe the savings of at least half the price or below that out of the four I bought. I had no idea that Amazon sold Yankee Candles. I usually pay full price at the Yankee Candle store. I think it depends on what scent you buy, since I just discovered these were able to buy here a couple weeks ago. I initially paid a fraction of the price and I know that I bought 2 Lilac, 1 lavender, and 1 Rose scented. I should have bought 2 Lavender Vanilla or three since I think the Lavender Vanilla is more of a natural way to use before bed. I was surprised since the price went up which I’ve never encountered since once I pay for something that’s the final amount. Since they took longer to ship the price went up when they finally shipped. However, I’m not complaining since I know it still is less than half the price that I’ve paid at the Yankee Candle store or at Hallmark. For some reason the 2 Lilacs and the Rose weren’t also different as far as I know. My Mother-in-Law always gives me a couple and my Sister-in Law occasionally buys me one for Christmas. My Mother=in -Law gives each of us a whole bag of gifts which is fun, but I feel bad that she does go overboard. I forgot that I’d be getting a few for Christmas since I have a 75.00 fat round huge Apple Cinnamon one that I bought at a boutique that I buy every October. So I’m all set on candles for awhile. I do know that I keep discovering things I never imagined Amazon sells. I used to mainly only looked for Kindle e-books in the past for which I’m still buying. I have over 4,000 Kindle books sitting on my Kindle that I read every early AM since I wake up early. I’ve gotten so involved some times that I put off my errands and read the book in one sitting. It has to be excellent for me to do that.

Aromatic Long Lasting Candle (Sun & Sand)
There’s one thing you can be sure of; light a Yankee Candle and the scent will fill the room. My wife and I have been buying from the YC store in the mall for years and are rarely let down by their products. We love the large jars, and when we saw this Sun & Sand on sale, it was too good to pass up. It arrived in good condition and we tried it out immediately.While it is lovely and burns evenly, my one quibble would be that the scent could be a little stronger. This one isn’t as “in your face” as some tend to be, and I find it to be mild but pleasant. It will permeate a medium sized room but not be overpowering. The Yankee Candle site describes it as, “A tropical beach breeze of sweet orange flower, lemony citrus, fresh lavender and powdery musk”. I find it hard to differentiate the various elements, but it is certainly reminiscent of the scent being at the beach with the hot sun on the sand, fresh towels, and various suntan lotions from other beach-goers. There is no indication of ocean and there isn’t much if any of that sweet piña colada scent I associate with sunscreens of old though. It is mild and dry, but I like it. It would be the perfect candle for a beach cottage.The fragrance notes are:Top – Orange Flower, Freshness, CitrusMid – Orange Flower, Elemi, Eucalyptus, Lavender (I looked up Elemi and it is similar to Frankincense)Base – Neroli, Powdery, MuskThe projected burn time of 110-150 hours is generous but achievable if you keep the candle lit for no more than 6 hours at a time and trim the wick after each use. The jar itself is solid with a fantastic lid, and it is almost a shame to recycle it after the wax and wick are spent (search uses for old candle jars). All-in-all I’d recommend this to just about any candle lover, but keep in mind that scent preference is very subjective.~ Kort

Very pleasant smelling!
Nice, clean smell. Plus, i like a white candle because they give off great ambience in a dark room. No complaints. Burned for far longer than I would have expected as well; Yankee Candle really knows how to make a long lasting product
