Unusual use, but I am short and ok with that, I have this in front of my stove so I can cook and it is perfect. It is just the right height and is very sturdy.

When you have knee surgery or low back issues. Make stepping up alot easier. Especially for us older folks 60+. Added grip tape with glow in dark helps also !!

Beware if bought used
I purchased this used and listed as minor cosmetic damage. Which was acceptable to me as it’s being used to prevent my fat cat from laying down while eating her food. However, it has major damage that isn’t paint chips or the like. I had to use wood glue and a hammer to put boards back in place. Luckily I had the tools.It gets the job done for the cat issue. Quick 5 minute fix. Just beware if you purchase it used. The seller does not provide adequate representation of the ‘cosmetic’ issues. Great product, less stars because of the falsehood of the products real issues.

This is the second type of step I’ve bought through Amazon. The first one has an overhang that makes it easy to tip. It was also claiming to be made in TEK wood, which it wasn’t, it was cheap laminate and unfit for purpose.I then purchased this. The outside lathes are connected with staples and the step pulled apart as I removed it from the box. Sending these things back is expensive and with little success of a refund. When is Amazon going to quality check items sold on this platform?
