Nice cleanser – Pump didn’t work tho
In all honesty, I don’t ask a lot from a facial cleanser, except to clean well and not leave my skin feeling weird in any way. I let after-shower products do the work my skin needs.This one got my attention, tho, because of the salicylic acid and the good value. I know salicylic acid doesn’t irritate my skin, and the extra exfoliation will help. And unlike other exfoliating products I might forget to use, like before bed or in the morning, I have to clean my face in the shower. So check off two boxes – I won’t forget to exfoliate and it’s not costing me a lot.The product is a clear gel, sort of, but not too thick, and has no scent (love that). It leaves my skin feeling clean with no dryness or weird residue. I haven’t used it enough to prove any discernable difference is definitely because of the cleanser. I’ll be back here with an update if I do. For now, I simply like it. Unless I find something better, and at the same or better price point, I’m sticking with this cleanser.

No more expensive brands
Great cheaper alternative to Cerave SA cleanser. Bottle is slightly different in a sense it’s harder to pump than Cerave but for the price I won’t complain. Seems to work just as well. Keeps my skin clean and oil at bay. Same ingredients as the expensive stuff. Good for sensitive skin as well.

Great product, but terrible container!
Product itself is GREAT. Cleans well and skin feels soft after use. Skin feels and looks better since using. HOWEVER…The dispenser is a huge problem. Took forever to free the pump to be able to use product. VERY DIFFICULT. Once opened, it takes considerable strength to push the pump to get any product out. Description says product is foaming. Foaming from dispenser or when applied to face? Does not foam from dispenser and very little foam when applied to face. Will have to pour product into a different container or find a pump to replace existing pump. Not sure if I will purchase again because of the container.

Well worth It and effective
What a pleasant surprise. With the aging process my skin has become much more sensitive to frequent shaving and this cleanser has smoothed out much of the resulting skin irregularities very quickly.

Easy to Use
Besides getting this plastic bottle opened to actually use it, this is a simple operation. I just tried a few problem spots, rough or bumpy or where the skin has sub-dermal oils. Application from the pump spout to my fingers and rubbing on those areas, maybe only for 5 minutes duration while I felt the difference. It was cool with some sense of activity, that being the mild acidic working. Then being careful of my eyes (because of the warnings on the label) washed-off with warm water and patted-dry with a clean towel. Those spots were then considerably more soft and appeared to also be a small shade lighter than the surrounding areas. Also where there had been some mild itching (possibly because of dryness) I felt none. Next I wait and observe for a while, but it looks good and the next step will be a full face wash (with a wash-cloth to avoid accidents) as well as other areas that may have been damaged in the past. This is an inexpensive solution after considering those alternatives available, and it may become a regular cleansing process, better than those soaps that dry or irritate, but still don’t work. I use lots of paints and chemicals, and get dust and abrasive particles on my mostly exposed face. This SA Cleanser might be exactly what I need to get rid of these foreign substances and prevent long-term damage.

Not sure I’d get this again
I’ve been using this over the course of about ten months. It does feel somewhat cleansing to use, but I haven’t noticed any actual long-term reduction of skin oiliness or breakouts of acne that I couldn’t attribute to just washing my face more thoroughly. There is the slightest sensation of burning, but that’s not exactly the best word to describe how it feels. What I have noticed is that I sometimes get types of very small hardened skin lesions I’ve never gotten before using this product. It could be coincidental, but there’s a non-zero chance this irritates my follicles somehow. I wouldn’t describe its scent as being pleasant or particularly off-putting.

Face wash just as good as mane
Actually use this, but in the name rent one and I got this for my grandson and typically it works just as well as the namebrand. I compared the ingredients in it versus the name brand. I did get the spot treatment as well because it really worked for me and my daughter. Now I was missing that item with my order and I haven’t heard back from them yet about it.
