While searching for a new journal to replace my old one, I chanced upon the AmazonBasics Shagreen Journal twin pack. Despite not initially planning to purchase two journals, I took the plunge and ordered the pack. Upon receiving them, I was delighted to discover they are incredibly durable and appear crafted to endure frequent use.One of the journal’s standout features is the thickness of its pages. They’re thick enough to enable me to use both sides without any issues. Additionally, the rule is slightly wider than the college rule, which is perfect for my handwriting. I can use each line with ease, which isn’t possible with college rules, which are too tight.Another great feature of this journal is its elastic closure. It’s a classy feature that securely keeps the journal closed when it’s not in use. The elastic is sturdy enough that it shouldn’t stretch out and become useless over time.The cover finish is also impressive. It looks as though it can endure any coffee spills or table bumps without sustaining damage. It looks great and is aesthetically pleasing.The only thing I’d alter about this journal is how slippery the cover feels. It doesn’t stick to my fingers, and I’d prefer a slightly more tactile cover.Overall, this excellent journal is much simpler to work with than the larger one I used to prefer. The AmazonBasics Shagreen Journal 2-Pack provides exceptional value for money and is highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable journal.

Great for getting into writing in journals
This journal book is great for beginners that are wanting to dip their toes into writing down their thoughts. The books are high quality and have a ribbon for marking your page. They also have a band for keeping the book closed when you’re not using it. Getting a journal at this price-point is great since you get the chance to see if using a journal is for you or not while not spending a lot of money.

Der Einband dieser Notizbücher ist sehr dünn und bietet keinen ausreichenden Schutz für die Innenseiten. Er lässt sich leicht verbiegen und zeigt schnell Abnutzungserscheinungen. Außerdem ist die Bindung nicht sehr haltbar und löst sich schon nach minimalem Gebrauch. Enttäuscht über die mangelnde Haltbarkeit.
