Great product, but beware buying from this vendor.Vendor review: I ordered the black and cocoa mascaras. I’ve been using these for years, but buying from a local store, so I know how the product it supposed to be. The black mascara was great, as usual, but the cocoa was clumpy and seemed old. Due to the holidays, I didn’t contact the vendor until around new years (received my order in mid-Nov). They responded that they would not refund products over a month old. Okay. Fine. But I won’t buy mascara from them again. I’ll back to buying local. If you buy mascara from them, be sure to open right away, use it and then contact them right away. I wasted money on this order since the mascara is not usable. The black mascara was perfect though. I’m thinking they sell more black than cocoa and the product was old….?Product review.I love the full brush. Mascara goes on smoothly. No clumps. Looks great -not too overdone, though you can add layers. My lashes are naturally full and long, so a little goes a long way for me. NOTE: this mascara will wash off easily. Here in the high desert where it never rains, that’s not an issue, but if you live in a rainy climate, this mascara might not be so great.I love how it washes off so easily, and I don’t have to use makeup remover.

Cruelty free, paraben free, looks FANTASTIC
I LOVE this mascara!! I made the decision to only buy cruelty free products a few years back. Makeup has been difficult. I love my Arbonne It’s a Long Story mascara but it’s really pricey ($31 with perks discount, $39 without) plus $6 shipping – I wanted to look for a cheaper option. I then tried Benefit They’re Real, and hated it! Smudged and left dark circles by mid-day.BWC mascara goes on easy, covers my lashes with one coat and separates lashes for a neat consistent look. Compared to Benefit, there is no clumping, no breakdown of mascara flakes onto my under eye, no smudging, and it’s easy to remove. Cruelty free and looks great, at a good price for comparable products, it’s a win!!

Beauty without Cruelty Mascara
I don’t believe the mascara was sealed, but I had run out of mascara and needed to use it. I later bought a second mascara at CVS (full of bad chemicals I know) but the BWC mascara really is very minimal. It does not run, and it is waterproof. If you like a very natural look, this is an OK choice for you. If you are used to a product that coats and emphasizes your lashes, looks elsewhere. The product took quite some time to ship. I really like BWC so other products may be better.

Very disappointed
The whole reason behind buying waterproof mascara is that it stays on your lashes. This mascara was very hard to put on. Although the moisture level was very good hardly any product got on my lashes. Several applications were needed in order to see my lashes. Then the kicker, this mascara quickly smeared under my eyes. In the trash it went. This is a very expensive, poorly performing mascara. Save your money.

I bought Beauty without Cruelty mascara because I no longer want makeup that’s tested on animals. This product doesn’t clump much while you’re putting it on and leaves your lashes looking more “natural” and less like you’re wearing mascara. It’s supposed to be waterproof but if your lashes get wet, it smudges like crazy. I will probably be looking for a different cruelty free mascara.

This is hands-down my favorite mascara. It’s a sharp, matte black that stands out crisply from my dark eyeliner. It goes on cleanly without clumps, it doesn’t flake or smudge during the day, and it comes off easily at night. It makes my lashes look longer, and if I want a ‘fuller’ and more dramatic look, I put on multiple coats, and it looks great. It doesn’t smell like petrol like most of the drugstore brands, but it doesn’t cost a fortune. Although “natural ingredients” is not necessarily my first criterion for makeup, it is nice that this product is paraben-free.

Improved Formula
Years back, I’d bought BWC’s regular mascara (not waterproof) and was not impressed by its performance. Shade and brush were perfect but it would smudge like no other. After purchasing this waterproof version, I think this company has been listening to its consumers, because this one is a major improvement.I have sensitive eyes and I wear contacts and unlike other organic brands, BWC’s does not irritate my eyes’ area. The hourglass brush is soft. Shade is a nice brown, and most importantly BWC is one of the original companies that became Leaping Bunny certified, meaning no animal testing on the part of the company and those it contracts with.This formula won’t give you crazy volume or length. It gives you a natural look and feel and you won’t lose your lashes while attempting to remove it. Trust me, this recently happened to me with a drugstore brand. Lesson learned.This one is now “up there” with 100% Pure’s Pigmented Mascara.

I’m really surprised at how good this mascara is and wish I’d found it sooner as I’d have saved money and had a superior product to the other more expensive brands I’ve previously used over the many years I’ve been wearing make-up. .It goes on very smoothly with no clumps whatsoever ( a rarity in my experience no matter how I wiped the brush/wand of other brands), dries quickly gives great lash length and looks great.My eyes don’t feel sensitive at all with this mascara (as with many other brands) and it is cruelty-free, which is mandatory as far as I’m concerned when buying products. Needless to say I highly recommend it.

Sehr gute VEGANE! Mascara! Es gibt mittlerweile viele Marken und Produkte im Segment Naturkosmetik bzw. vegane und tierversuchsfreie Kosmetik. Ich war jedoch lange auf der Suche, nach einer wasserfesten! Wimperntusche. Hier die Lösung. BWC waterproof Mascara. Ist wasserfest (Thermen erprobt;)). Bürstchen ok, für meine Wimpern nicht die optimale Form, aber was solls. Ergebnis: verdichtete Wimpern, ergo Volumen Zuwachs, sattes Schwarz und wer es dramatischer mag, einfach 2x auftragen.Bin voll zufrieden, lässt sich auch mit auf Öl basierendem Augenmake-up-Entferner leicht entfernen.Und das Beste, keinem Tier wurde geschadet ( im Gegensatz bei L’oreal und Konsorten)!

I am very light skinned, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and hardly any eyebrow, (that’s another story). If I don’t wear mascara, I look ill! But I like my make up to look natural. Using black mascaras with my light skin tone looks too heavy.So I bought this and am very happy. It goes on smoothly without clumping or smearing. It lasted all day without any smears.I just love this mascara it really brings out the blue in my eyes and gives me definition without looking made up. The wand is shaped so that I can apply the mascara to the inner corner of the eye too. Removal is easy also. It really lifted my spirits to find this mascara. I highly recommend it. Great colour for blondes or redheads. Highly recommend.
