UPDATE to prior review…
I have been using this product for many months; I enjoy the easy way to get vitamins etc in my diet. With my most recent purchase, I thought it tasted off…like rancid. I threw the entire bag away.I posted a negative review and what happened next was the best customer experience I have had in a long long time. I got a call from customer service and they wanted to discuss the rancid taste. They explained to me that all of the product is freeze dried first and then made into the powder. I did not feel like they were trying to change my experience, only educate me. Without my asking, they offered to send me a new item to see if the taste persisted. The customer care person told me that the most important thing to the owner of the company was customer care; even if the new product did not taste different, they still wanted to do their best to make my purchase work. When the new product arrived, it tasted just like I remembered! Very fresh and no rancid taste. I love this product in a vanilla shake with oat milk and actually like the taste.I am very very grateful for the customer service I received and will be purchasing again, and again, and again! Thank you Biotest!

Great Product but DO NOT order from AMAZON
I’ve ordered this multiple times directly from Biotest. It’s the best of its class IMO. It mixes great in shakes. There is no sweetener (a huge + for me) so it’s bland but mild. Sort of like an unsweetened berry tea flavor. I recently ordered from Amazon and it came poorly packed (as seems usual from Amazon these days), it was wide open and scattered over everything else in the box. Whatever, I can wipe off the other items but the issue is that this product is not eligible for return. So you’re taking a gamble on losing $50 if you order this through Amazon.

Terrible packaging and quality control.
The packaging sucks – the ziplock at the top was not functional, the contents became hard as a rock.Terrible packaging, terrible safety and quality control. I’m done with the brand.

A Mother Load of Nutrition
Read the ingredients and feel secure that you are getting a dose of nutrition without having to down plates of Fruits and Vegetables. Not putting down the value of fresh fruits and vegetables , they are awesome for us. A little insurance in a shake, a yogurt makes it easy. The serving is a small scoop that packs a punch!

Tastes terrible
When I received it, it was caked up already and did not dissolve well when mixed with water. I get more bang for my buck if bought frozen blue berries, reaspberries, brambles, celery, fresh turmeric and stuck in my blender.

I have purchased 2 bags of this item from Amazon, The slider seal on Each bag has failed to close. I have ordered this same item previously from T-Nation directly, and each of those bags sealed without a problem. I will reorder directly from T-Nation ongoing.

I add a scoop of superfood to my morning protein shake (almost) every day. I don’t feel any different but I take it for my health . It’s a little expensive but it’s worth it to me.

Brief Overview
This is one of the easiest ways to get a large variety of nutrients that would otherwise be very difficult to obtain naturally through altering your diet. I work, am going to school and have a family with kids, and the idea that I can spend hours every week prepping food to get the equivalent amount of nutrition is a joke.For those of you who are unaware of this (I was for a long time), freeze dried foods retain a very large portion of the original nutritional value that most given foods have. It’s not the same as dehydrating something; it’s a superior process and you really are getting most of the nutrients from the original foods that the company lists.People mention the powder tasting bad. I don’t think the taste is great, but I don’t consume this product for its flavor, I consume it for its health benefits. I actually prefer for the taste to be more natural instead of sugar or artificial sweeteners being added to the product to alter the taste. We get enough sugar in our diets already, and there is more and more research suggesting that artificial sweeteners are not the “zero cost” miracles that they were purported to be.One thing I will mention; the powder tends to not dissolve very well for me unless I put it in something hot. I sometimes put it in unsweetened coffee for that reason. It will still mix into cold or lukewarm water, but I usually have small clumps of powder in the drink when I do that. It doesn’t matter that much; someone may care about that though.
