Durable treadmill, with some issues, but still recommended
UPDATE 11/8/2024: Still running on this treadmill every single day. There are a few software quirks but I work around them. I use WD-40 Silicone lubricant to spray under the belt weekly. Been working fine.UPDATE 11/23/2023: There have been a lot of software updates to this machine over the months and I think that’s where the weakness was. I’ve had no lockups, and data disappearing for quite sometime. I’m on season 2 with this machine and I love it. Solid 5 stars.I never write reviews but for something that’s over $3,000, I’ll spare some time. I ordered my T22 in May and it came shortly after that. The delivery company walked it into the kitchen and I’m glad they did. This is one heavy package.I opted for the self-assembly, another thing that I’m glad I did and I recommend that you do to. The reason is that some of these electrical connections are very fragile. You’ll have to push and pull some of these wires down some of the components and if you don’t take the proper care I bet you’ll have problems later on. I’ve seen reports of individuals complaining of switch issues and while I have no proof I would still be willing to bet you blame an assembly guy that wouldn’t care about the product as much as you do. So my assembly took a few days, I was slow, but cautious, and it was just me, so your millage may very. I’ve used it for 12 weeks now and have had no electrical connection issues at all. Once it’s assembled the thing is a tank, but before, treat it carefully.I waited to give a review because at first I had a lot of problems with this treadmill, but I wanted to love it. So I wanted to see if they’d work out the kinks or if I could figure something out. I did or they did, or we both did or whatever because in the beginning I would give this product 2/5 stars but now it’s 5/5 and I recommend it to anyone that’s looking in this price range. The first problem I had is the loss of internet connection. Every. Single. Run. I would lose internet connection but it’s important to note that this does not stop your run. She’ll say “workout paused” and you’ll read “connection lost”. I would quickly tap “ok” and keep moving. Without a connection you’ll be staring at nothing but at least you’ll get your run in.Solve this by connecting to your 2.4 ghz internet connection. Make sure your SSIDs are labeled differently because it’ll connect to both if you attempt to connect to the 2.4 ghz ID.What I like to do is play the video “walking through a place” and their supplied music, but that didn’t last because another problem was the music stopping halfway and when the workout was over the program would freeze, forcing a restart. The only around this was to not play the music. I connect my phone over bluetooth now and play some music, and I still use their video of walking through different places, which I must admit is really cool. But I could never get their music to work. But not playing their music avoids that problem. After those two things this treadmill has been extremely reliable and so far I’ve lost 35 lbs with it.To mention some quirks-but-not-failures I’d point out that the angle and speed request can be a bit mushy. For instance I’ll want to walk at 3.6 mph, push the 3, and then hit the up arrow to demand the machine speed up but you’ll hit the button and it takes awhile to register that you did so, so I usually go to 3.8 mph and have to arrow down. Also I really with there was a way you could program your own workout but they give you a lot of pre-made options and you can always adjust, which I do.After all that I do recommend this treadmill, there is a lot of room on the belt and it’s easy to use. I’ve not had any mechanical issues so far.

    Don’t buy this treadmill
UPDATED January 1, 2023: I had high hopes for this Treadmill 22 (by Nautilus) and customer service, despite the negative reviews. I should have listened. I ordered it October 29, 2022 and delivery was scheduled for November 10, a day I was to be in town. The delivery service person changed the delivery date to the 7th (when I was not in town) claiming the customer had requested a change (I had not). They dropped the 400 pound box in the middle of my driveway, making it inaccessible, as neither my wife nor kids could move the pallet. When I got back, assembly went as expected, but within three weeks of use, the incline motor failed “on” in auto-adjust mode, driving the incline to level 20, and the incline was not responsive to any buttons or levers. Called customer service (60 minute hold) only to have the call dropped after 45 minutes. Started over (another 60 minute hold) and finally got through. A very nice person gave me some test procedures to run on the treadmill and asked me to email the results, and promised to respond as soon as I sent the test results (all the button and lever tests worked fine by that way, and the Treadmill self-diagnostic software showed no issues). Customer service person said, and I quote, “I normally respond to emails within two hours, but if you don’t hear back, just call back.” She did not respond to my emails after two days, so I called again (60 minute hold). After a lot of guesswork by customer service about the problem, and after she had me remove the motor cover and closeout panel, detach some cables, reattach them, and restart the treadmill, and re-run the tests (all tests passed), the person told me that she would have to hand it over to JRNY, since it could be a software problem, but that JRNY would call me within 24 hours. They did not.I called JRNY on December 3 to speak with the software people (5 minute hold). More tests, everything showed fine. They finally diagnosed the issue (on December 3) as the very same thing anyone could have concluded on November 28—incline motor failure—and said they’d be shipping a replacement out right away. They did not.Now it is December 28 and I’m back on the phone with JRNY (30 minute hold). I found out they had never shipped the replacement incline motor because, they say, I never submitted proof of purchase. (I had). So I re-forwarded the same proof of purchase email I had sent on November 28. This time it was accepted and they have now initiated a shipment of a replacement incline motor, which I will be installing myself because there is no way I’m going to wait for Nautilus to schedule a visit! It has been 60 days since I ordered the Treadmill 22, 30 days since it failed, and they are just now shipping the replacement part, which, by the way, retails for $130 and I could have installed myself by now, except it would violate the warranty. So before you buy this treadmill, ask yourself if you’ve got the time and patience for Bowflex/Nautilus help you diagnose system failures. Because congratulations! you’re a Treadmill technician!Update January 1, 2023: the replacement part came on December 30. I installed it, ran the calibration as instructed, and the incline motor immediately failed again in “on” mode, driving the motor all the way to the end of the screw, and which point the motor screw came off the sleeve and collapsed. And now I’m right back to where I was on November 28, 2022. The incline motor does not work, and I’ll have to get back on hold again to wait for hours to get assistance and additional instruction and parts in order to act as an underpaid Nautilus technician diagnosing their failed equipment. What a mess!

    Love! Great addition !
The box is heavy and will most likely need multiple individuals to move. The setup was straight forward though some screws on the top portion were a little tedious. Great money value and great addition to the home gym. Does everything a treadmill is suppose to do, incline. Speed, HR monitor, digital display….great all around. No complaints. The tread is long and wide enough so I do not feel restricted when running, I feel there is enough room.

This treadmill has everything I need in a treadmill.I looked at the dimensions so I was expecting a big treadmill. It was very heavy to manoeuver through our old house.Lost a star because we had a lot of difficulty with installing the left arm due to the wires not going down properly. Despite this, it is what I hoped for.
