Byoma: fixing emotional damage, one moisturized cheek at a time
Before Byoma, my face felt like a dry, neglected desert — like a cactus was trying to grow out of my cheeks but forgot how to photosynthesize. Enter: this magical little tub of gel cream that looks like it was designed by a Scandinavian skincare wizard with a hydration obsession.I slathered it on one morning and literally said “whoa” out loud like I was in a cheesy skincare commercial. My skin drank it up like it had just come back from Burning Man. Light, cooling, and somehow both rich and airy — it’s basically skincare sorcery. I don’t understand the science behind “barrier boosting tri-ceramide complex,” but it sounds like something my skin has been crying out for since 2008.Now? I glow. I glisten. I could star in my own K-drama. My pores are on vacation, and my forehead has stopped making passive-aggressive crackling noises when I smile.Also, the packaging is cute enough to leave out without shame, and the pump gives just the right amount — not like those aggressive moisturizers that act like they’re trying to frost a cake.In short: If you want skin that looks hydrated, feels like a marshmallow, and makes you consider canceling all your other skincare products out of guilt — this is it.

OBSESSED! This is my all-time favorite moisturizer! It’s got simple ingredients, no bells and whistles, just exactly what your skin needs to stay hydrated and protect your skin barrier. It’s very lightweight and has a mild, pleasant smell that’s not irritating. Paired with a salicylic acid cleanser, it leaves my skin so soft and keeps dry, flaky skin at bay. Using this about once a day, I find the bottle size has a lot of product in it and it can last me 3 months or more. It’s so good my boyfriend started using it too!

Air pump moisturizer
Update, I contacted Byoma about the pump and was told that they are normal and called an airless pump which keeps the moisturizer freshener and it doesn’t need the straw to work. You just have to make sure the cap is sealed tight and pump it enough to build pressure.Like many others on here, mine was missing the pump straw too. The bottle opening is small so it’s hard to see if it fell into the moisturizer or was it just missing. It’s hard to get the moisturizer out of the bottle since the opening is small. Have to return it. Poor quality control. The moisturizer itself is fine with no scent and a light formula

100/100 Excellent rating on Yuka App – LOVE!
I’m super picky about moisturizers. I took a chance on this when it was a good price on Prime Day. This one gets a thumbs up from me. I’ve been using it for a couple months now. I also ran this through my Yuka app and it scored as 100/100 – Excellent without any harmful parabens or UV filters. It goes on non-greasy and absorbs well. It doesn’t have a scent which I also appreciate. My skin feels hydrated and soft after using. I will absolutely keep using this. Just wish there was more in the bottle.

So far an easy skin care step for my teenager that doesn’t cost a ton
My daughter has just started using this. She applies 2 pumps after her Proactive skin care. I got this for her to help with dark spots from old break outs, help keep her skin moisturized from the proactive and just in general. I also like that it’s alcohol free so it doesn’t dry her skin more. The product texture is thick and creamy and she is able to apply very easily and quickly as it isn’t greasy and absorbs quickly .She says it makes her skin fill soft and does not irritate her skin. She’s 15 so she hates to have to have another face care step but doesn’t mind this since it’s so easy to use. Will update my review after she uses this bottle. Also she likes the bottle, she thinks it’s cute lol

Lightweight moisturizer but has some shine 😟
I have oily-combination sensitive skin and finding a moisturizer has always been difficult for me, the lotions & creams are usually to heavy while the gel ones aren’t moisturizing enough. 😓 I’ve always used the cerave lotion because it sinks into my skin and feels lightweight when applying but also leaves my skin feeling soft/moisturized. However I’ve always felt that it was a little too heavy for me because about 10 minutes after applying it I would get pretty oily and I can’t stand when my face is oily & shiny. This is my first time trying a gel cream moisturizer and it works perfectly for my skin type! It’s lightweight enough to not leave my oily but it’s still moisturizing enough that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry in any spots. It’s also doesn’t irritate my skin at all or cause any sensitivity. It’s a very creamy but thin texture and it feels really good when applying. A little goes a long way. My only negative is the finish, I’m so tired of gel moisturizers and moisturizers targeted towards oily skin having a glowy finish, it’s not crazy shiny or glowy by any means but it’s definitely not a matte finish and it leaves you with a mild shine, I know some people might like that but I can’t stand any shine on my face and it’s frustrating when products marketed for oily skin types are always given a glowy finish. It still leaves me less shiny then the cerave lotion since it doesn’t cause oiliness but this moisturizer would have been perfect if it didn’t have a slightly glowy finish 😭💔
