Good collagen supplement but beware if you have elevated hematocrit
I added this marine collagen to my daily regimen. I was already taking bovine collagen, but decided to alternate between the two hoping to get a more rounded benefits.I have a problem with elevated hematocrit, and after taking the additional supplement for a couple of months, I started not feeling very well. After going through all of my supplements that I was taking, I found that collagen can be responsible in elevating hematocrit so I had to stop. I told my doctors about the experience and they told me they’ve had other patients tell them the same thing. So please be aware when adding collagen into your daily regimen.

This is one of the best marine collagen powders I’ve tried. Mixes easily in water, including with other flavoured supplement powders, blends into smoothies and in all cases, without any fishy smell or taste. I like that the powder includes Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C as from both my research and personal experience, these work synergistically with collagen peptides to improve skin health. I’m already noticing an improvement in my skin and nails and hair are stronger.
