Very gentle and effective — perfect for sensitive, dry skin!
I’ve been using this Cetaphil Hydrating Foaming Cream Cleanser for a while now, and I’m really impressed with how soft and smooth it leaves my skin. The texture feels creamy when applied and turns into a light foam as you massage it in, which makes it easy to spread without drying out the face.I have normal to dry, somewhat sensitive skin, and this cleanser has worked beautifully — no irritation, no tightness, and no redness after washing. It removes dirt, oil, and even light makeup without stripping the skin’s natural moisture barrier. My skin feels clean but still hydrated afterward, which is hard to find in most cleansers.The formula is fragrance-free and very gentle, so it’s great for anyone who’s sensitive to strong scents or harsh ingredients. I also love that it contains soothing prebiotic aloe, which gives a nice calming feel after a long day.A little goes a long way — one pump is enough for the whole face, so the 16 oz bottle should last quite a while. Creamy, Luxurious Facial Wash
My absolute favorite facial wash! This creamy wash lathers well, feels luxurious, is very mild on my sensitive skin, & doesn’t burn my eyes. It’sskin calming, while leaving skin hydrated. It feels wonderful!

I love this cleanser. It has great texture at first and then it forms up. It is gentle and works quite well for all skin types, including my combination skin. It is fragrance free and has great dermatologist. recommended ingredients.

Great facial cleanser!
This is an amazing facial cleanser. Works well on my combination skin. My skin is soft. No leakage. Great size and value for the money. It was one if a couple of facial cleansers recommended by my dermatologist. I trust Cetaphil and so went with it.

Too drying for me
Worked at removing makeup. Sometimes, with certain mascara, I’d have to go over with a makeup remover, but works.However, this cleanser was too drying for my skin. I have normal to slightly dry in the summer and VERY dry skin in the winter. This cleanser was a big no no during winter time. It’s too stripping. For someone who doesn’t worry about dryness, then this cleanser would be a good one to try.

Gentle and Effective!
Cetaphil is my go-to face wash. I use it twice a day, and it’s gentle yet effective on my skin. I’m over 50 and have mature, slightly dry skin, and this cleanser is the foundation of my skincare routine. I like the feel of foaming cleansers, but most are too drying, so I don’t typically use them. I was excited to find this hydrating foaming version for normal to dry skin. It dispenses as a creamy texture that works into a light, gentle foam versus a big foamy, airy puff like hand soap. My skin feels clean and refreshed after each use, never tight or dry. I love it and definitely recommend it.

Paraben & Dye-Free Cream Cleanser
I like that this cleanser comes in two sizes-the big 16 oz. size which lasts quite awhile and an 8 oz. size that is good for travel, like road trips and overnight stays (it is easier to pack than the large size). If you are new to this cleanser you might consider purchasing the 8 oz size until you know how your skin will respond, tolerate the cleanser or react. Should the cleanser work out you can always purchase a larger size later. This is a white creamy lotion type cleanser. It states foaming cream cleanser on the bottle but foaming is left to interpretation. It isn’t a real sudsy type lather more like a creamy emulsion that covers the skin. It contains glycerin and aloe that are supposed to help hydrate. I still use some type of moisturizer after cleansing. Of course it is entirely up to you what to use after cleansing-different skin types have different needs or requirements. As for makeup removal I prefer to use micellar water or a makeup tissue to remove most of my makeup (when I wear it) prior to cleansing, so the cleanser doesn’t have so much makeup to break down. By removing most of my makeup first the cleanser can get to my skin better and remove pore clogging debris better–plus I don’t have a gunky layer of cleanser and dissolving makeup on my face. It doesn’t remove long wearing transfer resistant lipstick that well-I use vaseline or cold cream and smear on my lips then remove with a tissue prior to cleansing. I have older, mature skin and this cleaner is suggested for dry to normal skin and I have had no difficulty using it, although rate of response, sensitivities and reactions can vary from person to person. You have to be the judge of that. It states it is fragrance-free and I am sensitive to smells as I have nasal allergies/rhinitis, it smells rather bland/neutral. I asked my husband for his take on the smell and he responded, “not much.” For me it is an economical way to keep my face clean and is paraben and dye-free.

Am expecting to be foaming in one pump but it’s not. There’s a bit bubble once you wash it even two pump not totally bubble. I don’t know why if this is legit or no. It’s been 2 days I use with the cetaphil cream but both of them I still have dryness after an hours of use.
