Stopped working….update
I’ve had this item for less than a month. It was working REALLY well. Idk how, but it does draw moisture from your surroundings. I enjoyed the exact temperature I could set it at depending on where it was needed. However, just today, it either heated up beautifully, or not at all. I’m returning it for a refund. 6/20/20 ADDENDUM: I believed in this pad. I have another and it is working perfectly. I’m still amazed at how it draws moisture to make itself moist heating. I love that you can set your own heating level, or change it during treatment. I also love the ability to lock in your settings in case of accidental button pushing. The only thing I’d do to improve this item is to have the ability to select a longer than 60 minute timer. I highly recommend this product!!

Cannot support a product that costs $75 and only last 2 years.
I’ve purchased 2 of these heating pads, same model, over the last 4 yrs – both around $75 a piece. Neither of them have lasted longer than approx 2 years (1 bought on amazon and another outside of amazon). In any case – I cannot support a company/product that won’t work with someone (giving an extension &/or replacement) on a 1 year warranty when their products keep failing – just shy of 1 or 2 years. I contacted the company directly & the person answering the phone just read from a script citing their 1 year warranty. In addition their customer service manager “Alejandro/Alex” cited the MANUFACTURING date instead of my purchase date when calculating their warranty!!! So my unit, even though I bought it in Nov 2019 had a manufacturing date of Jan 2019 – so he said my unit was 3 years “past” the 1 year warranty. Huh?! That is not how any company calculate warranties – I even showed them my proof of purchase from Amazon, with my purchase date of Nov 2019. It’s like they know their products have defects and won’t fix them to last longer. I’m not mistreating this item and don’t over use it – so I don’t understand why they keep failing – other than poor quality. The first time it was that the unit just stopped turning on & the 2nd unit (just yesterday) lost more than half of it’s display, rendering it inoperable due to being unable to see the number readout. I won’t be buying again.

Solid Relief, Just Wish the Cord Was Longer
This heating pad does exactly what it’s supposed to — delivers real moist heat that actually penetrates deeper than your average drugstore pad. I’ve used it on my shoulder, lower back, and neck, and it helps loosen everything up within minutes. The digital controls are easy to use, and I like that I can dial in both the temp and time. It holds heat well and feels built to last.Only knock — the cord is kind of short. If your outlet isn’t close, you’re going to need an extension cord. Also, the control unit is a bit bulky if you’re trying to relax in bed or on the couch.Otherwise, no complaints. Moist heat works way better than dry, especially for deep soreness or post-workout stiffness. Been using it daily and it’s holding up great. Would be 5 stars if they improved the cord length and made the controller a little more ergonomic.

Not the Product It Once Was–Getting Something Else Now
I’ve used this brand of moist heat pad for forty years–before it was even called TheraTherm–and the first one I had lasted almost 20 years. The second one, about ten. Then….the last decade or so….they just don’t hold up more than a couple years, and of course they only have a one-year warranty and the company doesn’t repair them, so they become a landfill problem.It’s really a shame. It was a great product once, when it was reliable. Now it died in the middle of a severe pain episode after less than two years from purchase, and I just can’t justify getting another one at this price-point and failure rate. Bought another less expensive one that also only has a one-year warranty, but at least it won’t hurt as much when I have to replace it.
