Perfect wand for Asian eyes!
If you have Asian eyes, this mascara wand is for you!! Doesn’t clump, dries quickly and doesn’t smudge. I use banali makeup remover and do need a little help with eyewash pads to remove excess mascara.

Finally, a Mascara That Survived My Sister’s Wedding AND the Tears That Came With It!
Bought this after seeing Korean beauty raves about it. I’ve been wearing it daily for three weeks now, and it’s been through everything – hot yoga, beach days, and my sister’s outdoor wedding last weekend (85°F heat + happy tears). My lashes still looked perfect at 2am.This stuff genuinely doesn’t move. I ugly-cried during the vows, danced for 4 hours straight, went swimming with it on by accident – zero smudging, zero flakes. My friend actually asked if I was wearing falsies. For $14, this performs better than my $35 Lancome and $28 Too Faced mascaras.The brush is super skinny which seemed weird at first, but it grabs every single lash including those annoying baby ones in the inner corners. Gives you that separated, fluttery look like you got a lash lift. One coat looks natural, two coats gets you noticed, three coats and it’s still not clumpy. The black is TRUE black, not some wimpy gray-black.Yes, removal requires oil cleanser – but honestly, that’s WHY it stays perfect all day. I learned this the hard way with micellar water (didn’t work). Now I use Banila Clean It Zero, let it sit for 30 seconds, slides right off. Small price to pay for bombproof lashes.The formula is a bit wet at first – just wait about a minute before blinking hard. No weird chemical smell. I curl my lashes first because this holds curl amazingly. The silver text on the tube rubs off but who cares when the product inside is this good?This isn’t dramatic volume mascara – it’s better. It’s “your lashes but impossibly perfect” mascara. When I want more drama, I just add another coat or layer with primer. But honestly, most days I don’t even bother because this looks so good on its own.Perfect if you have oily eyelids (everything smudges on me by noon usually), wear contacts, live somewhere humid, or just want to apply your mascara once and forget about it. At $14, it’s basically stealing. Already bought two backups because I’m never going back to mascaras that melt off by lunch.Will update in a couple months about formula longevity, but honestly at this price I don’t even care if it dries out faster.

I too have short straight SA eyes, and I’ve tried SOOO many brands . I’m embarrassed to say how long it took me before I realized I should have checked to see what other Asian people used! This was one of three brands, none are sold in a store in my area, so I had to buy online and cross my fingers. Already, I know these are significantly better than what I’ve tried before (drugstore, fancy = nothing). They do lengthen, they do hold the curl better than I’ve had before, and they don’t smudge/move. I’ve had to try different eye removers, other reviewers aren’t joking about staying on, but I think I’m happy with the Clinique Take The Day Off for lids and lashes (NOT the balm, that’ll get INTO the eyes *shudder*). I also got a better metal eyelash comb for precision fussing, but it doesn’t take much since it’s not coating my lashes all heavily; it’s a nice, natural looking mascara.So, two things that are important to note:1) there IS product in the tube, but maybe it’s an issue of warming/loosening up to make it flow or something?2) be careful about applying too much!!! It’ll feel heavy and keep catching on each other in the outer corners.

Ok I don’t like to write review BUTTTTT as a THANK U to this product I will say something for the bad review I see.Here is me with years and YEARS of lashes extensions addiction and now this product gave me my natural lashes back. Do you know how hard it is to grow my lashes and not feel bald after a lash extensions addiction?? Omg!! So THANK YOUUUUUI will never use anything else!#1 this is made for Asian lashes, which is a tough to curl and sparse so if it work on Asian it would work on ANYONE!! So if you can’t get this to work… it’s a you problem#2 YOU NEED ACTUAL MAKEUP REMOVER to REMOVE THIS!! NOT miscellar whatever water even when it say waterproof NO!!! Get a $3 wet and wild “eraser” pink cap makeup remover and some cotton pads, or a makeup remover towel, WET IT. Apply on your lashes and breatheeeee and count to 10 and WOAH LÀ~~ you are welcome!#3 curl your lashes from root to end ok… dont be lazy…. This product isnt going to fix your straight stubborn lashes. It helps but you need to curl it well. It a mascara wand not a magic wand. But once you do and apply this will stay curl ALL DAYYY! I’m a mom and I wear this from 8AM to 10PM I don’t have to worry about smudge or looking at myself for flakes around my eyes. It’s amazing I wish I knew about this when I was wearing contact lenses.#4 most mascara I had to learn how the product work on applications, this? No. I can apply it from my roots allllll the way to my ends and it’s fine. Nothing droops, it doesnt get heavy, the only thing it might do is clumpy and spidery cause I’m over doing it out of obsession lol

Impossible to take off
It is a good product it lengthened and colonized my lashes and didn’t weigh them down so it stayed curled. But it was impossible to take off. After soaking my lashes with micellar water like I normally do with mascaras it would not budge. After 10 minutes I was able to get most of it but still some were stuck on to my lashes.

I didn’t even know I had eyelashes before I used this mascara. I am light skinned Asian and have short, straight sparse lashes that point down. I’ve tried SO MANY mascaras with varying degrees of un-success because so many of them weighed down the curled lashes and just un-curled them.This Clio mascara however holds curl so much better than most of my other ones, I used one coat and it gave me length I’ve never seen before on my natural lashes. The wand is thin unlike most other western brand mascaras so you can really go into the roots with them! Also very good for bottom lashes because it’s so extremely waterproof that it literally doesn’t smudge at all :)The only thing is because it’s so waterproof, that make sure you have an oil-based waterproof eye makeup remover 🙂 I didn’t, and it took me a long time with micellar water to remove.Overall 9.9/10 would def repurchase
