Although the plan was to save this cake for the holiday season I could not resist and and used it as an activity at my daughters birthday party. the cake was so neat and easy to pass around – the gift items were so appropriate and well wrapped – I see why it was not so cheap – alot of care and attention to detail was put into it.

Decent product for a child just learning to apply makeup. Purchased for my 13 year old on her birthday.Pros: lots of colors; case is sturdy; makeup goes on well and washes off easily with a basic makeup removing cleanserCons: lip color goes on a little different than the color in the container; the small brush isn’t spectacular and I ended up giving my daughter a few of the little sponge-tip applicators for eyeshadow, although the blush brush has worked ok (brush quality is the real reason I took off a star)Overall a good value with plenty of colors for a cheap introduction to wearing makeup
