What is not to like
If you are like me and plants are the thing, this is a wonderful plant to have. It is so decorative and helps fill up places that need filling, takes out the empty and fills it with joy. Not only did this plant come healthy but loves attention. A bit of a show piece in my home and feels so warming.This one seems to be a bit of a show-off flaunting a curly ‘unicorn’ tail.Propagating this plant should be easy as this is a big plant and creating more plants from this one should be easy. So, yes, a great value.

Infested with Spider Mites
Upon receiving, the palms were beautiful and I didn’t see any evidence of bugs, so I was pleased. After some quarantining, I brought them inside and placed them about my house. Now, I’m an avid plant mom, but I’ve never had larger palms like this before, so I knew there was a distinct possibility I’d have to spend some time finding just the right spots in my house. I moved a couple around, but settled within a handful of days. I clipped a broken frond off of one of the palms, and otherwise, it seemed healthy and happy. It stayed this way for a couple of weeks, and then suddenly, took a turn for the worst. Long story short, I finally figured it out when I found the spider mites. All over the place, so I’m guessing they’d hatched a few times. Unfortunately, I did not catch them before the spider mites infested quite a few of my other plants. I’ve now thrown out two out of three palms, and five additional plants. There are a handful more that I think I can rehab, but it’ll take me some time and a strict quarantine.I’m so disappointed in these palms. Costas Farms is such a reputable plant farm, and yet, they’re sending out massively infested plants, because clearly, I am not the only one with this problem. What a disappointment. I won’t even get my money back for these. I sure as hell won’t be buying from here again.

Great deal, quality purchase!
We were very excited to add some greenery to our place but I’ve had many poor experiences buying plants online. I will definitely update if the plant starts to look sick but when we opened the plant we were amazed at the quality, especially for the price!Two side notes with our experience:Our box did break open in transit with the bottom vase falling out but they obviously handled the shipment with care because our vase was unharmed.The plant is well wrapped for shipment but this makes it very difficult to get all of the wrapping off and I was definitely worried about harming the plant when unpacking. With two people we were able to gently get it all setup and it looks great!

Picture of what they’re advertising vs what actually got delivered. Not any major concerns, plant seemed healthy day of delivery, pot was damaged from shipping but im going to repot it anyway so its not worth disputing.Leaves have some white residue on them, not sure what it is. I’ll leave it outside for a few days so it can wash off in the rain. I’ve ordered dozens of plants from Costa through amazon, less than 15% of them had issues.Honest no BS human reviewer

Beautiful & Healthy Planet
This is the 3rd large plant I’ve purchased from Costa Farms. The large money tree plant arrived 3 days early. The box was caved in on one side. Unfortunately the plant suffered minor damage compared to what could have happened due to Costa Farms superb packing and there were only a few broken stems/ leaves.I am currently awaiting a large pony tail palm that should have been here by Christmas but seems to have been sent by back to UPS because of delivery issues. If it arrives alive it will be a miracle.Costa Farms has beautiful healthy plants…so have no fears purchasing from them on line.I will order more from them.
