Look great so far. 6 different plants. Heat pack still warm.
They look great and in good shape, so far. I was expecting these to come in a little worse for wear because it’s winter, and it’s usually less than 40°F in Northern NV during the day. I brought these plants inside within a few minutes after they arrived on my porch. I have a camera outside that notifies me of deliveries. They didn’t sit outside for very long. If possible, I would personally have these plants held for me at my local post office for me to pick up if I couldn’t bring them in within a few minutes of being delivered. I don’t know if holding at the post offfice for pick up is an option through Amazon or Costa Farms. These plants would not have lasted for long if I didn’t bring them in right away. The heat pack was still a little warm, which is great while they’re inside a delivery truck or post office building, but the heat pack would not have helped if the plants were not brought inside right after they were delivered on my cold porch. If I couldn’t bring them inside within a few minutes after delivery, I would wait to order until the weather was not too cold or not too hot.I also got a set of snake plants from Costa Farms at the same time as this order, and they also look great, so far. Sometimes, it takes a day or two before cold or heat damage is apparent. I’ll update if any of these new plants appear cold damaged within a day or two.I don’t have ID labels on these, so I have to research a couple of them that I’m not familiar with. There are basic instructions such as bright indirect light, avoiding soggy roots, fertilizing once or twice in the spring and/or summer. There’s an email address to ask questions about these plants.I got 6 different kinds of plants. They’re very pretty. They seem healthy, so far. I’m happy with them, l so far. I’ll update witg pictures after I get them in nice planters.

Definitely mini but not so much live
The plants were tiny and arrived in terrible condition. One of the three plants was nearly dead on arrival. It was stems with leaves that had fallen off. The packing for shipping was poorly done such that the box was printed with This Side Up, but the plants were laid in a different direction so that they were falling out of their tiny little pots. I’ve ordered plants like these before from a different company that arrived great. I would not purchase these plants again.

Worth trying for the price
These plants were not in great shape when they arrived. The pothos had looked like it was attacked with a knife. One was upside down and out of its tiny pot. While they arrived in rough shape, I reported them immediately and was hopeful. The pothos will be fine. The money tree is trying. One will surely die. I don’t think the roots were strong enough for all it went through. I loved the idea of getting something small and growers choice, but I am regretting that. I think it is important to know that I will be getting a plant that it big and strong enough to handle the transport and replant. I just dont think a lot of these little guys are really ready for that so much.

Arrived Perfect
Oct 24, 2022. Delivered and look just like the pictures. In great shape. Plants were in strong box. If your plants arrived all tossed around or dry/dead, then blame your shipper/delivery driver. My UPS driver is top notch and pays attention to a box that says live plants keep-upright. Other shipper that starts with F and ends with x tosses packages around like luggage at an airport. Will order again from company.Update: Nov 16, 2023 – so all six plants survived the year. As always when ordering plants, they arrive very small – that’s the value. If you want bigger plants, go to a local store and spend 15-20 bucks a piece. Otherwise, enjoy helping the plants to grow. Once they arrived, I let them sit in a windowsill (no sun) for a week to acclimate, Then I transferred them to a 4″ pot. Based on type, they either get some light, full bright light, part sun, or full sun. After 5 months, they transfer to a 6-8″ pot. Now it’s been a year. Some plants are 18″ tall, some are 24″-48″ hanging and some are known to be slow growers like this palm. The palm is only 12″ tall, but full. It is considered a very slow grower. You need to read about your plant and understand it’s speed and size.

A gift for Memorial attendees
I ordered 7 boxes of these house plants. I wanted to give attendees of my parents memorial something special to remember my parents.Each plant came individually wrapped and potted. The problem was that when they were packed laying down rather than standing up. As a result, the potting soil came out and they needed to be repotted. If the plants are tall, ship in a taller box.I don’t want to discourage anyone from buying these plants. There is a nice assortment but plan on some work and maybe some potting soil too.I think this is a good take home gift to remember my parents.

Damaged product, poor customer service from Costa Farms
This is the second time I’ve ordered from Costa Farms through Amazon and the second time the plants arrived damaged. This time the box had been crushed and the plants inside were torn and displaced from their containers. I get that things happen during shipping. But Amazon direct two cost of farms and Costa farms says that the products are not returnable and you should go to Amazon. Ultimately Amazon credited my account for the purchase, and I appreciate the good customer service there, but Costa farms seems pretty sketchy.

Reliable Service, Beautiful plants every time!
This is my 100th time buying from Costa! I just received a variety pack of 6 houseplants. I absolutely love these because it’s so much fun unboxing to see what you’ve gotten! This time I got a coffee plant and a beautiful fern and a polka dot plant (the others I already have but will gift to my nephew). You can count on Costa to get healthy plants, I’ve never had a problem with bugs or gnats or fungus. I keep my new plants in the ICU in my kitchen for a few weeks but never ever had a problem! I LOVE these plants SO much! Ty Costa!
