Best Budget-Friendly Waterproof Mascara Ever!
I honestly can’t believe how good this waterproof mascara is for the price—it easily outperforms some of the high-end ones I’ve tried. The brush is the perfect size, coating every lash without clumping, and it gives me just the right mix of length and volume for an everyday fluttery look.The staying power is incredible. I’ve worn it through sweaty workouts, humid weather, and even a full day at the beach, and it never smudges or flakes. My lashes look just as good at night as they did in the morning, which is rare to find in a budget product. That being said, I do need to use a waterproof makeup remover before washing my face in order to remove this mascara.For such an affordable price, this mascara delivers everything I need: length, volume, and truly all-day wear. It’s proof that you don’t have to spend a fortune to get gorgeous, reliable lashes. A definite drugstore gem!

Good lash combo
I’ve used CoverGirl LashBlast mascara off and on for years and have been very pleased with it. I’m not a big makeup person, but was looking for a way to enhance my lashes for special occasions and ran across a video of someone using a lash primer. I’d never heard of such a product before, but when I saw this two pack from CG, I decided to give it a try. When the product arrived, I had another (non-CG) mascara in use. I tried the CG primer under that mascara and did not care for the results – too clumpy, too flaky. But when I tried the primer with the CG LashBlast mascara, it was a completely different experience – no clumping, no flaking off. And I did see a difference in “lash impact” when using the primer. I don’t use it daily, but for dress up occasions, I definitely recommend this, but also recommend using the two sister products together rather than mixing brands.

Have had this for a year now and can easily say it’s the best mascara I’ve had. I put it on at 9am and it lasts me the entire day! There’s such a clear difference between both eyes when I do one and compare it to the other the – my lashes are longer and darker but don’t look clumpy. Also love that the mascara doesn’t crumble off and stick under your eyes like some mascaras do. Really perfect for when you’re out and about all day.

Meh – – good mascara but awkward wand and shape of wand
Overall, I can say I’m satisfied with this mascara itself.I’ve been using the Maybelline Great Lash but saw great reviews on this one so thought I’d give it a try.As far as mascara goes, I really don’t see any difference between this and the Maybelline Great Lash.The brush is shaped differently – – fatter and with shorter silicone bristles than the Maybelline. It took a little practice b/c at first I found that my lashes clumped more with this than with the Maybelline, but using a little lighter hand with this achieves a nice and similar result.It does work as advertised – – – waterproof and smudge proof through hot weather, workouts and even swims.My biggest peeve with this, and the reason I’ll be going back to Maybelline Great Lash when I run through this tube, is the shape of the tube and wand. I’m not talking about the brush itself, but the shape of the wand handle that you hold onto while applying the mascara.Am I the only one that finds the conical shape hard to hold onto? Or maybe I just happen to apply my mascara differently than others do.I typically hold onto the wide part of the brush handle to apply to the majority of my lashes, but then I always slide my fingers down to the top part of the handle when I apply to my bottom and outer edge lashes. I cannot tell you how many times the brush has squirted out of my fingers when I adjust my hold onto it.The conical shape that narrows toward the end make it difficult to hold onto. This is made worse because the plastic is sort of micro-textured and doesn’t really allow a nice finger hold at the narrow end.Silly to judge a mascara on the packaging, but the Maybelline gives me the same result without the dropsies and mess. Sorry CoverGirl.

Lives Up to the Name!
Lives up to its name. My lashes look full. Does not smudge, which is a problem with most mascara. I purchased this in brown. It looks more natural as I am fair haired and brown-black or black mascara is better suited for darker haired individuals. It is buildable and a little swipe across the upper lashes goes a long way. It is not clumpy. I will purchase again. The price is fair.
