Great fit, comfortable skinny
It’s not my first pair of Democracy Jeans and it def will not be my last. This is the first time I bought a petite, however, and I wish I had done it sooner. I’m 5’3″ish, 145 pounds. I can get away with a size 4 because these have some nice stretch but this time I tried a 6 and obviously that offers a little more room for my booty, but also just a bit too much room around the waist. Nothing a belt can’t fix. I love them!

Love Democracy Jeans
I love Democracy jeans. Excellent quality material. Good fit every time. Lasts a hundred washings. For this style jegging, I thought the inseam was a little long for petites. I bought 8petite, but the 6 regular was a better length for me. For this style only – I usually wish that democracy would add a couple inches to the flare and boot cut styles in petites. Always very comfortable!

My go-to jeans
I initially was introduced to this brand in a Wantable box last year. As a short, mid-size lady, I’ve wasted a lot of time and money trying to find jeans that fit my body without tailoring. I put on the cropped version of these from my Wantable box and was delighted when they fit like a glove. I recently lost weight and needed to buy new jeans, but was hesitant to try the full length version; since at 5′ tall, even the petite length of most skinny jeans tends to be a little too long and bunch on me. I was so pleasantly surprised when this was not the case with this brand and purchased several washes to round out my wardrobe. The waistband and jeans themselves have just the right amount of flex to remain comfortable throughout the day without losing shape. As far as quality goes, my initial pair was just beginning to show signs of needed replaced (wearing on the inner thighs) when it was time to retire them anyways. But given how much I wore them and the price point, I think this was a reasonable amount of time for them to last.

I got black, the fit with Democracy jeans is consistent which I appreciate. They are very flattering on. Wish the black didn’t fade so fast but , would absolutely purchase again.

Wonderfully Comfortable Democracy Jeans Acceptable in All Settings
I’ve bought several pairs of Democracy jeans bc petite sizes are available & they fit comfortably & well. One other reason to buy is the black version can pass for “nice” slacks where jeans are not allowed. This was my experience yesterday when entering a nicer restaurant. Basically my black Democracy jeans were accepted, & another lady’s jeans were rejected.

Don’t Cheap Out, get the Actual Wit and Wisdom Jeans
I love Wit and Wisdom but due to convenience got their off brand Amazon version called Democracy. They’re not the same even though they’re made by the same company. One of my belt loops snapped and had to be resewn as it wasn’t properly stitched originally and, worst of all they got these weird lines across the front from just one washing, basically making them unwearable and relegating them to the weekend. See photo. I also paid money to get them hemmed. Just kind of a waste, I wish I had just stayed with the original which is the best. Plus the fit isn’t as good. Sometimes you can’t tell a difference, but with this brand I definitely did.

Love, love , love Democracy jeans. Fit is perfect. At 5′ 1″ and 128 lbs I wear a size 4 in these very stretchy, curve hugging jeans. Comfortable as heck.
