Already falling apart on arrival
Positives: affordable, comfortable, and good-looking (for sandals at least).Two big negatives though. First, they are not good for long walks; after less than an hour my feet hurt … although maybe my feet just need to get used to them?More importantly though, mine had already started falling apart, just a little, when they arrived. As you can see in the pic, the stitching on the left sandal strap was already coming out.They still might last awhile, and for the price they may still be worth it … but if you buy them be aware they may not last.

Comfortable and Great Grip
First, I want to agree with others that the sizing may be a little tighter than other brands. That said I ordered a 9W when I normally where an 8W or 9 standard. I ordered the bigger size to fit over a toe brace I need to wear and while it does fit, I can’t get a sock on with the brace, or it is just too tight a fit. So, if you think you need a wide you may want to go for extra-wide. That aside these are very well made, and comfortable. I have seen others claim to have struggles putting them on, but they work fine for me even when sliding the foot with a brace in I have little struggle slipping my foot in and pulling the strap up. And these are wonderful for hiking/walking. I took them on a trip to Garden of the Gods and around Balanced Rock it is a bit of a hike up rocky terrain with tall ledges and steep terrain you have to walk up and down to get to the actual site and these things were as sure footed as a mountain goat. I don’t think I have ever worn a shoe that felt so glued to the terrain giving me optimal balance and support for moving around that rocky steep terrain. And that was really a great benefit since I was with my 4 and 6 y/o kids and had to hold them up when they slipped more than once while I never had any worry about slipping myself. So, if you want a pair of hiking sandals at a reasonable price you can’t go wrong here.

I rarely leave reviews, but credit where it’s due, these Dockers sandals are REALLY comfortable! I got the Wide fitting which really helps. They’re slightly wider, but not noticeably.
