Won’t settle into Wrinkles!
I have strayed away from foundations because since I’m over 55 they tend to isettles into my wrinkles, particularly around my eyes, and just make me look older. BUT this one does not, it’s very forgiving.This is my favorite foundation, including high end, and some people compare it to Georgio Armani foundation . This does not settle into my wrinkles, no matter how long I wear it.However, I use a foundation brush to stipple it on… and I avoid the areas with heavy wrinkles, which in my opinion, if you’re older than 55 you should avoid these areas, and just get coverage on the smoother areas so you look even and smooth but don’t look older. For me the finish is neither glowy or matte, it’s just has a natural skin like look.I’ve read some people say that it dries their face out and even though I have dry skin , I haven’t had that problem, and I can’t imagine it because the foundation isn’t drying. I suggested putting on a nice moisturizer and a lubricating sunscreen if you have a tendency to dry out. And It’s not a high coverage foundation, I think it’s just a normal coverage foundation. If you need more coverage, I would use a good concealer on certain spots and then go over it with the foundation. But if you want a complete block out, this may not be the foundation for that.Matching up your color can be a nightmare!That’s the biggest problem if you’re buying this online and can’t see the actual colors.In general, I think they tend to be two shades lighter than what they appear.So for me I’m on the fair side and I use the number 25…. which would be like a medium fair…not a porcelain or very fair color.

Favorite Foundation
I have tried quite possibly 100 budget to designer quality foundations and this is my overall pick. You do not need to put a ton of this on, as it spreads evenly, does not cake as easily, not sticky, stays the intended color, and doesn’t dry out your skin. It is soft with a skin-like texture, and wears all day, when combined Elf’s primer and setting spray. It even photographs well!

Really really good foundation at a great price
I really like this foundation. I wish I could give it 4 1/2 stars because it’s almost perfect for me. I started using the red cushion foundation and tried to love it as much as everyone else seemed to. It was almost three times the price of this, and never looked as good on me as this does. It has a beautiful skin like finish, which dries down smooth and without oiliness or stickiness. The coverage is good even though the foundation is light weight. I have sensitive skin and have had no problems with irritation or breakouts. I have an oily t-zone and if there is any area I wish this worked a little better it would be my nose, but it’s easily managed with some blotting sheets or a little powder. This has become my new go-too foundation for daily wear, and it is buildable if I want to go for a more glam look. Almost perfect.

Im 69 and love the satin finish
Over the years I’ve tried many foundations. Matte, moisturizing bbc, etc. ELF is one of my favorite brands. I saw this and ordered it right away. I couldn’t be more pleased with the foundation coverage. It’s buildable and satin smooth. It works great on my older skin. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work just as well on other skin types. My skin is dry but you’d never know that from looking at my face with this great product. You should try this. I highly recommend ELF and this foundation

Amazing foundation
This product is amazing. It is all that it says it is. Great medium coverage, build able too. This didnt dry my skin and I had lots of compliments on the color and shade match. No scent, not sticky. Easy to apply and feels nice on my skin. Very breathable.

Great foundation for an even greater price!
I’ll be honest, I was nervous to try this foundation because I usually spend over three times as much on high end brands. But, as usual, e.l.f. absolutely delivered. The medium coverage is spot on, enough to even everything out while still letting my skin look like, well, skin. It gives such a natural finish that honestly, surprised me. The blendability is dreamy too, no streaks, no patchiness, just smooth and seamless with a brush, sponge, or fingers.I’ve got combo skin that can’t decide who she is, and this foundation just rolls with it. It has a lovely moisture level, hydrating without getting greasy, and it wears comfortably all day without clinging to dry spots or melting off the oily ones. The size of the bottle is generous for the price (seriously, my wallet is still in shock), and a little goes a long way. If you’re on the fence because you’re used to splurging on foundation, consider this your sign: save your coins, keep your glow, and let e.l.f. do what e.l.f. does best, come through every single time.

A powdery foundation
This foundation dries quickly. I wanted a smooth powder look to my face that worked with a rosy glow of highlighter, blush, contour and bronzer. I added a very neutral color of concealer after the foundation and it got absorbed right away. This foundation goes on smoothly, it stays in place all day and it doesn’t itch or dry out. I put on moisturizer, primer and color correction before this foundation and they settled into my face quite well with this foundation. I finished up with powder, eye makeup and setting spray and the foundation held everything together. I was just delighted. It takes about two hours to apply all the makeup (you have to let each application dry of course as you move along). Your makeup is fabulous. I posted before and after pictures. 🥰

I tried this foundation and really liked it. The shade Medium 31 suits my skin tone well. It gives medium to full coverage and feels light on face. Finish is satin, not too matte or oily — just natural. It blends easily and stays for good hours. Only thing is, it looks better if skin is well-moisturized before applying. For the price, it’s totally worth it.
