I got this on discount during the prime deals.. score. I love it so far, I have pretty thick hair and a pixie cut so it’s very difficult to find a hair oil that doesn’t immediately weigh down my hair and make It greasy. Gisou hair oil makes my hair so soft, I apply if after I shower and let it air dry (a little goes a long way). It also smells pretty light which I prefer as opposed to heavily fragranced hair oils. Definitely recommend. My hair instantly soaks up the product, also the amount you get for the price is fair because of how little you need to get that soft feel effect on your hair. Love this.

If you have the money, absolutely try it out!
I have a complicated relationship with this hair oil. it works very well, it contains silicone’s that fill up empty spots into your hair that make your hair strands appear fuller. I don’t know what they put into this hair oil, but it prevents your hair from looking greasy and it’s very buildable. Around the time that I was consistently using it, I was actually growing my hair a lot longer and fuller, but that could also just be due to me taking care of my hair more often. It works really well, but I’m just afraid for the price that it’s not everything that it truly is. If you want a reliable hair oil and you have the money to spend absolutely go for it and try it out but if you don’t, then I would look past the pretty packaging and the influencer marketing and find a cheaper alternative. But overall, it’s a great hair oil that doesn’t have much greasiness to it, it makes your hair look, shiny and tames frizz, and it’s not very sticky. This hair oil also works on both curly and straight hair, which I love.

Decent hair oil, needs time to sink in, lack of scent
I have straight, Asian hair and the Gisou Oil is a good oil but probably not the best for my hair type. It is a thicker oil so I have to use it at night after washing my hair to give it time to sink in. My hair is really soft and silky in the morning after using the oil this way. However, I cannot use it during the day unless I have my hair completely bunned up, the oil is just too heavy for my hair type. I don’t have this issue with other oils that work just as well whether given time to absorb or during the day. This oil may be better suited for thick hair on the coarse side.Also mine does not have any scent at all, I was hoping for a honey scent if it is “honey infused” but there is only a very faint old kind of smell despite the nice glass bottle and dropper.

The best hair oil I’ve ever used. I have curly hair that I blow out straight sometimes and it nourishes the hair and makes is shine while taming frizz instantly. I love it.

No joke. Best oil ever! You get what you pay for.
I’ve tried other oils but never a honey oil. The scent smells so good. It kinda smells like my grandma but in a good way because she wears a honey perfume 🤣 So I love it. I promise it’s good! It works so well. I use it after I wash my hair and I use it to oil my hair at night before I put my bonnet on. When I’ve gotten matted hair due to depression, this oil helped me have a better experience 🙂

My hair has never felt better than with this hair oil. I’ve tried a lot of options but my hair is super thick while being fine so it is hard to find something that works well with it. The hair oil is lightweight and helps with frizz and increases shine. I definitely recommend!
