“Reliable and High-Quality: My Experience with Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein”
I’ve been using Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein Powder for a few months now, and I purchased it from Amazon after seeing its consistently high ratings. Overall, I’m very impressed with this product. The mixability is excellent—whether I use water, milk, or add it to smoothies, it blends smoothly without any clumps. The flavor options are another highlight; my personal favorite is the Double Rich Chocolate, which has a natural and not overly sweet taste. One thing I appreciate about this whey protein is its quality. It provides 24g of protein per serving with minimal fat, carbs, and sugar, which aligns perfectly with my fitness and dietary goals. I’ve also noticed quicker recovery times after workouts, which I credit partly to incorporating this supplement.Overall, Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein is a reliable and effective choice for anyone looking to boost their protein intake, and I would definitely recommend it to both beginners and experienced users.

Delicious & Satisfying Protein!
This Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein in S’Mores flavor is a game-changer! It’s perfect for curbing dessert cravings while still being a much healthier option. The flavor is rich and satisfying, especially when mixed with milk instead of water—it makes it feel more like a small, filling meal rather than just a shake. The 5.64 lb container lasts a long time, making it a great value for the price. It blends well, is easy on the stomach, and works great for muscle recovery after workouts. If you’re looking for a tasty and effective protein powder, this is definitely worth it!

Good Source of Protein. East Digestion. Mixes well.
My doctor told me to get more protein into my diet, so I decided to try this. The taste is very good and it mixes into water & milk very well. Mixes in much better than whey protein. This is the vanilla and I am not a big fan of vanilla, but this is good. Carbs & sugar content is minimal, so this does not effect my blood sugar adversely. No problems with digestion or upset stomach. Could be used as a meal substitute, I suppose. I just wish it were less expensive.

Surprisingly delicious!
Delicious! This is the first protein powder I’ve actually enjoyed. It even enhances the flavor of the food with a creamy vanilla taste, no chalky artificial sweetness. I’ll repurchase!

Good stuff
My experience with ON casein so far. (2 flavors)Peanut butter Chocolate:TASTE – Awesome with milk which is the way I drink my protein shakes. Completely different story with water. Its horrible. Hard to even finish.MIXIBILTY – With milk it takes a good amount of effort to even get it to a drinkable state. It does not mix very well. Almost every time you will get clumps no matter what you do. Ive learned over time never put the powder in first. It will just stick to the bottom. I pour milk, powder and then finish it off with milk. Makes is a lot easier to mix.Cookies and Cream:TASTE – Very good. To me it tastes like a combination of graham crackers and cream. With milk its great but what surprised me was with water. Its almost as good, nothing like peanut butter chocolate. Which is nice if you do not prefer milk with your shakes.MIX – Again completely different story then Peanut butter Chocolate. Mix very easily with both milk and water. No clumps what so ever.I’m basing my 5 stars on cookies and cream only. Peanut butter chocolate I would give 4 stars due to the fact its harder to mix and tastes horrible with water.

Essential part of recovery
For too long I had relied solely on whey protein to help build muscle, especially after intense work outs. It definitely helped, but often times I would wake up the morning after not feeling that much better. In other words, I wasn’t really recovering that well. I considered just doubling up on the whey, basically eating another serving before bed, but then I did some research.I figured it would benefit me to alternate the types of protein supplement, and when I added the Optimum Nutrition Casein protein, it was a game changer. I now wake up in the morning feeling back to 100%. Even though I never train the same muscle groups two days in a row, I feel as if I could. I am making a 100% recovery in less than half the time.As a side benefit, the stuff tastes amazing. I mix mine with soy milk (yeah, I drink soy, get over it) and shot of light cream, after reading that a modest amount of fats help the body absorb large amounts of protein. Anyways, the vanilla is a very deep and satisfying flavor. To change it up I sometimes add some cinnamon powder, or some nutmeg and ground clove. On top of that, I eat it just before bed, and I am never super hungry in the morning, and I have eliminated my midnight snack routine.I use a hand crank egg beater to mix this stuff up, because even a little bit quickly turns into a thick mixture, sort of like wet concrete. It needs way more liquid to dissolve into than whey protein powder. Sometimes I also throw in some Greek style yogurt, but this stuff is thick enough already. The labeling says something about how Casein behaves differently when it hits the acid in the stomach, and that it expands, and you see this when you mix it up.If you have been missing something in the protein department, I would absolutely try this Casein.PROS:+ Tastes awesome.+ Fills you up, you feel satisfied, and won’t be hungry for quite a while after.+ A little powder goes a long way.+ Slow absorption.CONS:- More expensive than most whey protein powders, but that’s common to Casein.
