Bright and pretty makes your house pop
These are fantastic super bright great color easy to install, they come with lots of extra parts. For the best appearance I used the 2in part of a 2;x4 for spacing off the wall. The app to control the lights is full exciting different options. Truly make it your own. Great quality!

A super fun way to light up your house year round
Thsea are such cool lights. I bought these last summer with the hope of installing them before Christmas. In the past I have always had to climb onto my roof to install Christmas lights. It was such a chore, and like medium dangerous. Well long story short I broke my leg in October (luckily not falling off of the roof) and did not get a chance to install these until earlier this year, and man I missed out last Christmas!The installations process does take some time but is very straightforward as long as you plan ahead. The adhesive pads stick extremely well to our vinyl soffits and haven’t shown any signs of budging all summer… a very hot humid summer so far. I love that the kit came with splices and jumpers to make it easier to install segments in all sorts of roof configurations, granted we didn’t need any of that since we have a very simple ranch style house, but I could see it being invaluable for some.The application to control the lights does have a bit of a learning curve, but it didn’t take me too long to figure out how to design custom scenes and schedules after a bit of fiddling around with it. You can literally go light by light if you want and set everything manually or there are a bunch of fun pre-installed scenes available as well.Overall the whole kit feels extremely high quality and I expect it should last a very long time. Currently it has only been a few months, but I will definitely update this review in the future if necessary. Everyone loved our 4th of July red white and blue lights, but I can’t wait for Halloween and Christmas! All I know is I am probably going to be buying a lot more Govee products in the future.

The Govee Pro Lighting is Awesome and Easy to Install
The Govee Pro Lights are easy to install and look awesome. After installing, they look like professionally installed lighting. What I liked about the Pro Lighting is the wiring can be spliced and extended to extend length. The mounting tape is very sticky. I also ordered and added third party brackets to the lights to secure to the soffit guaranteeing they will not fall off. Once this was installed I did not want to go back up on a ladder to re-secure. It is stated that once the tape is secured they will stay up; but to me there is always that possibility they could because of weather conditions.Highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic lights
I bought these lights after having already had a positive experience with Govee RGBIC LED strip lights. I liked the ease of installation and programming with the Govee Home app. Depending on the length of lights you get, the box will include a few extension cables and mounting clips for the wires. The lights come with adhesive pads, but I was skeptical about how well that would work. I highly recommend getting plastic mounting brackets that fit on each individual light and attach to the surface with screws. On Amazon, I found some neat mounting clips that fit at the top of a gabled roof. I found that it was easiest to start at the top and work my way down to the end of the roof line, repeating on both sides of the gable for a nice symmetrical look. I mounted my lights on the soffit under the roof line, and used a board to evenly space the lights 3″ away from the wall. This resulted in a look that I was very satisfied with! Be advised that if you are doing this as a DIY project, it does take a substantial amount of time. It might also be helpful to rent a boom lift to get to the highest parts, but manage your time wisely as this could get expensive. It’s a little bit of an investment to get these lights on your house, but I am very happy with how well it lit up the house. You could especially see what an enormous difference it made when I was halfway done and you could compare the 2 sides of the house.

We just set up the lights and they look fantastic! Easy install. We got the additional brackets as well. My kids love the lights and the color options are so fun! Can’t wait to test it out in the Canadian winter months

10/10 recommend. Easy to install, the light options are endless, and the app is so user friendly! This will be something I recommend to family and friends! You do need an additional piece for the power box to make sure it doesn’t get wreaked with weather but can pick it up from a hardware store! Love these lights

This Govee pro is an amazing lighting system. It’s so easy to install and the instructions were simple and well laid out. I liked the fact that it comes with a wide variety of connectors and extensions to go from one level of roof area to another.I opted to spend a little more to make the job perfect so I bought 1/2” speaker wire channel (on Amazon) 17” long, to put between each light puck. A little more wrk and $$$ but well worth to make the job look professional. I used a peice of 2×4 to put each puck 3 1/2” from the back wall and the light reflection is absolutely perfect at that distance. I would recommend this lighting system to anyone looking to spruce up the looks of their home.

Total junk.Initial instal was fine. They worked for a month or so and then suddenly wouldn’t connect or turn on anymore. Govee sent a replacement control box and adapter which solved the problem. Lasted a few weeks. Same thing. Govee wanted to just send a refund but we pushed to replace the control box and adapter again since the lights are up on the roof. They finally did after a lot of back and forth but this time it did not fix the issue. They’ve basically wiped their hands of fixing the issue. Ultimately they do not stand behind their product and offer no support for troubleshooting. They were not knowledgeable beyond very basic suggestion like make sure the plug has power by plugging something else into it
