I absolutely love this hair serum! I’ve been coming back to repurchase it many times because it truly works wonders for my hair. Almost Nothing Works For Me –

Excuse me ahead of time because I am so excited!Okay. I actually have a Herstyler ceramic flat iron kit, which is the only reason I know about any of their other products. Before I forget, let me mention that I’m black and use relaxers. So anyway, I was asked while purchasing the flat iron set if I wanted to get any of the other items like previous version of this serum and I declined. I figured that the ORS Olive Oil Heat Protection serum that I always buy would suffice. It’s fine…I still will use it in the future and am looking at about 3 FL OZ left over from the 6 FL OZ bottle that I’m on.Anyway, I finally decided to get some of the Herstyler serum mainly to help with flyaways. The flat iron always makes it silky smooth even without product use, but as I was searching Amazon.com, I ran across this one, which naturally has vitamin E in it AND from what I’ve heard, Argan oil is like liquid gold for hair. I’m not allergic to it (if you have any allergies and think you might have a bad reaction, you should do some research on Argan oil to avoid any the possibilities of it happening to you), so I ordered it.I was so excited because I ordered it and it was supposed to actually get here late next week, but it came a few days ago. As soon as I opened it up, I ran to go wash and dry my hair so I could try it out. I’m stretching my relaxer for as long as I can, so every week after I wash and dry it, I flat iron it out. Most of the time the new growth doesn’t revert back to the tight curls…Other times, it just lasts a few hours, which is still a great feat for MY hair, which usually has a mind of it’s own. Since I didn’t even believe the flat iron would work was was proven wrong when demonstrated own my hair one day, I figured that I should start getting the products that go with my irons to see if there can be even more of a difference.I used this as the heat protection…I have never used Argan oil before, so I’m not sure how it’s supposed to smell. I personally love how it smells. I’d wear it as a body oil if I could, but some people who are sensitive to things might not like it. It was on the brink of irritating my eyes ( I have a few allergies, but strangely enough it didn’t irritate my very sensitive eyes!) but didn’t. It is really true that it’s light and doesn’t weight your hair down. Makes your hair feel even silkier after using the flat iron or if you just want to touch it up for flyaways or extra shine. My hair still flows/moves like it was just freshly washed and free of products and smells wonderful! Love this stuff, but it costs a pretty penny…I thought that 6 dollars was too much for the other stuff I can get anywhere, but I spent 20 dollars as a whole to get it and get it sent to me because there is no super saver shipping for this item…I guess it’s still worth it all though.

You better save the box because this comes without a cap. It does not have a security lock on the pump, so travel with it at your own peril.Smell is actually not bad, not flowery but sort of light and woodsy.EDIT: It does make my hair feel fantastic. I have waist length greying hair that is not color treated or damaged but is on the dry side from aging.This product is the only after shower product I used today and I am really impressed on how soft and flowing my hair is with this one use.Another Edit after 2 weeks use: I use it every day now because Minoxidil makes my hair dry, and my hair is easily managed and soft. Washes out easily with a clarifying shampoo. I will buy this again.

Very moisturizing hair serum! I have thick, undamaged, dark, long hair that sometimes gets frizzy after wash or when dry. It is clear, does include silicon for heads up, and has a good smell. If i had to describe the smell accurately, i’d say it smells like a new car but a little sweeter. It makes my frizz take a back seat for real. Its so smoothing and kills frizz very well. This is my haircare routine for moisturized, shiny, healthy hair:First, i wash with alba botanicals so smooth shampoo. Only shampoo the roots of your hair. Never shampoo the body of your hair because it strips the hair if all the moisture. Then i condition with the same “alba botanicals so smooth” conditioner. Then comb with a Wet Comb and loosely wrap to air dry. After it has mildly dried, i apply a clean ingredients natural leave in conditioner. Then when its dry, apply this!! Enjoy the prettiest hair you’ve had in a while! Always avoid heat styling! You can try heatless curl rods and they come out beautifully! Braid your hair with a scrunchie when its bedtime if its long enough, if not put a silk bonnet on to protect it. Has a good size, great quality bottle, which btw is very pretty! Great price and works for all hair types. My hair type is wavy and thick and it still works very well. But it will work for all hair types as advertised. I tested it on thin hair and thick hair and it never left any oiliness. It has a frosted solid, real glass bottle. It didn’t come with a cap over the pump lid though, which is fine. Don’t use too much, and especially don’t apply it to your scalp! it will cause buildup and halt your hair growth speed.

Smells like a funeral home.
Texture is pleasant. It’s fast absorbing and not greasy. The size for the price is great. But the smell is awful. So bad that it makes me a little nauseated and smells don’t usually bother me that bad. It smells like walking through the crowd at a viewing and I’ve tried to cover it with other products but the smell bleeds through every time. I can’t purchase again for the smell alone.

Works better than the expensive ones I’ve tried. Does not get rid of ALL the frizz ( I have curly hair that refuses to be tamed) but it does get rid of about 90% of it. You can use on wet or dry hair. It does have a floral ish fragrance that some people might not like but it does fade after you dry your hair.

Been using this product for 8 years (probably more) and it’s my FAVORITE hair product, used mostly every day. I do take breaks, but not long because there is something about the smell, and the hydration it provides 🫠 I love it
