I have neuropathy and hobibears are the best shoes I have ever worn. I have several pairs. They help with my balance and are just comfortable to wear. They look great with anything I want to wear. These are the best.

Wonderful transition shoe into barefoot lifestyle.
I’ve been in true barefoot shoes for about two years now, and have multiple other Hobibear shoes, as well as Splay and Lems. First and foremost, these do not feel like true barefoot shoes, but rather feel like a great transition shoe if you are interested in moving from normal footwear to barefoot.They have a thicker sole than your standard barefoot shoe, and they don’t feel like zero drop (disappointing to me).They do offer a substainally wide toe box (love that) and they are comfortable – likely attributed by extra cushioning all around the shoe.* These are great transition shoes into barefoot footwear.* Unsure if they are zero drop – they don’t feel like it.* As a barefoot shoe enthusiast, I still like them a lot and because of the extra cushion, they offer extra warmth during the winter months.* Wide toebox is great! They are stylish but don’t look like clown shoes. Wide toeboxes still look different than normal shoes, so if you’re new to wide toe shoes, of course they look different.Overall I really like the shoe! I purchased in three colors, and painted the white ones red (Angelus Leather Paint) to have a pair for football matches.

I have been on the fence for months on trying this brand. I have wide feet with high arches so my experience with buying footwear online hasn’t been great. These, however, are perfect in every way. So cute and so comfortable! I’ll be buying more for sure!

Foot pain and NOT a barefoot shoe
These are super cute, but honestly, I’ve been pretty disappointed. They absolutely kill my feet. I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes for about six months now. My Saguaros and EarthRunners feel totally fine if I wear them all day. I wear my Saguaros to work and I work on my feet on concrete all day. No pain. However, when I wear these, my feet hurt sooo bad. Come to find out, Barefoot Brit cut them in half and they are NOT zero drop. They are not barefoot shoes like in the description. I thought maybe I could just wear them as an occasional barefoot-ish shoe but I usually avoid them because of how bad my feet feel at the end of the day.

Comfort and safety first for this diabetic!!
They are extremely comfortable. From someone with diabetes and with diabetic neuropathy in my feet I can promise you these shoes deliver on comfort and safety for your feet. I don’t worry about stepping on anything sharp due to the thick sole and my toes are free to spread out and breathe. The quality is excellent and I can imagine the durability will far exceed my expectations. I do wish I had ordered a half size up however. When wearing a thick sock they become a little tight. That is my only issue with these shoes though. I will be getting more. Just a little bigger. Lol. Oh and I loved the color.
