Holds 1/2c looseleaf tea. Works great!
This worked great for making a large batch of looseleaf tea! I measured out 8 tbsp of my tea and it made a slightly heaping half-cup. I was able to fit the heaping half-cup of tea into this strainer, perfectly! The lid screws on well and the mesh seemed to allow water to get to all the tea. The hook at the end of the chain hooked & stayed nicely on the edge of the pot even with the lid on.The mesh is so fine, that even my finest tea didn’t come through at all. No need to strain the tea after brewing. I may order another.

Nice, easy to use, no fuss tea infuser.
These are nice, small tea infusers. Perfect for an afternoon cup of tea, They can be a bit difficult to clean as water is just as likely to run off of them as through them because of the fine gauge mesh they’re using here. I find I have to scrape out bits of herbs or tea leaves rather than being able to rinse them out. But, otherwise, they’re perfectly serviceable and even come with a nice little tray to set the infuser on before or after you make your tea. They are thin, so you won’t want to grab them with any great force as you’ll crush them inward, but you get two in a pack so even if one does get damaged, you still have a second. They work well and soap takes any tea residue right off them as they’re stainless steel. I’d say they have about a two tablespoon capacity of regular loose leaf or herbal tea. Tightly coiled tea leaves might not be able to fully expand in these as they aren’t roomy enough for that, but, you wouldn’t really be buying these for that kind of tea anyway.

Nice infuser!
So far I really like this infuser, but it feels a little delicate so unsure of the durability. I used it to hold the loose tea and spices for my Chai tea and it did a very good job. My Scotch Bright scrubber fit into it for an easy clean up. I really hope it holds up a long time.

Great alternative to plastic tea bag
I have used Costco Ito En Kirkland Matcha blend tea until I realized that the tea bag was made of plastic. I switch to this stainless steel tea container to enjoy my own Matcha blend tea. This one is a very good alternative. The holes are tiny to keep tea leaves inside but still enough to extract all tea benefits. I bought the small capacity one which is fit to my mug as well as a tea pot. I think the steel is of good material as it has not been rusty so far, but it is not as heavy as I expect, so same with other comments, the container is prone to keep its top under water. I think the reason is the steel is not the exceptionally high quality stainless one. However, this is ok because this one is really affordable for everyday use. It is easy to clean, to open and to close the lid.

LOVE this for single serve coffee!
Single serve coffee easy! I love this for my coffee, im single and it saves me having to clean up a coffee pot , a game changer for me, i got an hour of my life back a week!! Mesh is fine enough for expresso . hasn’t rusted in the salt environment, i live on a boat. Water is at a premium so not having to wash a coffee pot is a big deal for me.Of course it works for tea also.

Perfect for My Daily Green Tea Ritual
The House Again Tea Infuser 2-Pack is a must-have for any green tea enthusiast like me. The extra fine mesh means no annoying tea leaves floating around in your cup, which is a game-changer. I can steep even the finest loose green tea with ease, and it always comes out perfectly brewed. The stainless steel is high quality and doesn’t rust, even after lots of use, and it’s easy to clean—just give it a rinse or toss it in the dishwasher. The extended chain hook is super handy and lets me easily clip the infuser to any mug or teapot without it falling in, which is great for those bigger morning mugs. I also use it for steeping spices when I’m feeling fancy in the kitchen, and it holds up well for that too.Pro tip from a green tea addict: Fill the infuser only halfway to give the tea leaves room to expand for full flavor. It’s a small but mighty tool that makes tea time a breeze. Five stars for quality, convenience, and making my green tea routine flawless. Alright, alright, steep-right!

Good quality and price.
These strainers are well made. I have purchased two sets of these from different dealers and they are basically the same product. They are holding up to everyday use extremely well. They seal well and so far I have not had any leaking of the contents. They were a good value from both dealers. I would recommend them for acid tea lovers.

Make Sure There’s Enough Room For Your Tea To Bloom
The small one is indeed small. I’d estimate it’s only good for 1 to 2 tsp of loose tea for a single 6-8 ounce cup of tea so that there’s enough room for the tea to bloom. Even then it would be close for teas like genmaicha that expand a lot. If you’re more accustomed to making your tea in a 16-ounce mug, you’ll want the larger one so that there’s enough room for 3-4 tsp of tea to bloom without expanding and compacting inside of the tea ball.

Tried numerous tea infusers over the years an so far this stands out as the best. Easy to add the tea. Easy to clean. All grades of tea can be brewed whether fine or coarse. The infuser is more suitable for a mug/large cup of tea an can be used in a tea pot. Also There is adequate room to add plenty of tea for a teapot.

I’m very happy with this infuser. The mesh is quite fine, so no little crushed bits sneak through into my tea. And it’s also a generous size, which allows the leaves lots of room to expand. My tea is definitely tasting more flavourful (I was using a tea ball previously). Initially, I thought I might be bothered about the fact that I can’t use the lid for my teapot while brewing my tea, but it’s really not a big deal at all. I just pop on the infuser lid (which doubles as a receptacle for the infuser once you remove it from your pot/cup) during brewing, then put the teapot lid back on and I’m good to go.

Great little gadget, keeps tea leaves and bits inside, the mesh is very fine so none of the bits leak into the cup. Lid holds well. The cute metal plate helps, when the tea infuser is ready to be taken out. Easy to clean and hygenic because of metal material. Would totally recommend.
