Perfect size, holds 3 cups, keeps things hot!
This is a great product, I love the dark, indigo blue color, I actually make tea or coffee in it, and then I decant it like a little pitcher into a smaller mug. It keeps tea or coffee hot for several hours at least, probably up to three or more hours. It doesn’t fit in the cupholder, but I didn’t buy it for travel, I just use it in the kitchen, it’s great because it holds 3 cups, which is more than enough to get you going in the morning. It’s great.

Nice mug. Leak-proof? Not really. When the lid is closed liquid can leak out the small hole (which is needed for good flow), but it also leaks out of the part that you can close (very slow though). Either way, if this cup drops, then it would be only a small amount of liquid to clean up, if any, if you’re quick. I’ve only tried hot liquid so far, but I would say it will stay “hot” for about 3, maybe 4, hours before you would consider it “cold”. The handle is on the small side for me, but I have big hands. I find myself holding the mug around the top rather than actually using the handle. It’s a nice mug that does what I was hoping it would do: keep my drink hot/warm and prevent a big mess.

Lid improved from previous version
I love this Hydro Flask mug! The color is gorgeous, and the lid is a big improvement from previous versions. It’s made of a sturdy hard plastic, so opening and closing it is super easy and secure. I use it every day, and it keeps my tea hot for hours. Great quality and design, highly recommend!

Overall a very nice mug
Pros:1)I like the color and the finish of the mug. It feels good on my hand2) I like the fact that it holds the coffee hot all morning. It claims 12 hours….. NAHHHHHH. Maybe 4 hours. But that’s much better than any single wall metal or ceramic mug. The double wall insulation helps a lot.3) It keeps cold drinks cold for a long time. I have gotten ice cold beverages to last all night with ice in them…. It claims 24 hours…. NAHHHHH. Maybe 8-12 if you keep it covered and don’t drink any of it at all. I can attest to 8 hours with ice remaining.Cons:1) Not dishwasher safe. It doesn’t say in the little piece of paper that came with it but the Q&A has several people advising against it due to the plastic color finish. I have not tried it.2) The 12H hot and 24H cold is a little unrealistic. But, if you are drinking off of it, it is only 24oz. Who drinks 24oz in more than 12 hours??? It is much better than anything else available.3) The top lid pops off all by itself. When using it for hot beverages, the lid gets pushed up. I don’t know if this is due to thermal expansion or what, but it is the first time this has happens to me on a double walled mug. If you push the lid down, it will slowly push itself back up. Maybe it could be a little tighter fit to create a little more friction to hold it in place. I don’t know why this happens but it does and it is annoying.

Excellent insulated coffee mug
large insulated coffee cup with a great handle. Keeps my coffee warm for hours, all morning! I like to sip my coffee, enjoy it over a long time and I can and keep it warm in this delightful mug. Great top. Has some heft to it, but not heavy.

Beautiful, well constructed, and does the job!
I absolutely love this mug, I also have the Stanley brand. While they are both very cute and aesthetically pleasing, this one has a lid that stays on very well. The Stanley lid is more of a pop in and pop out and will not prevent a spill. I would definitely buy this cup again. I am most likely going to get it in the smaller size next time. I use it for both cold and hot drinks. It will keep my ice cold for an entire day or longer, same thing with keeping my drink hot.

Highly recommended, for many reasons
I’ve been using this for a while now, and I love it. It has some heft because it’s well-insulated, but if you don’t have any arm strength, well, you might think this heavy. Give it a week and you’ll build your biceps. It is not leakPROOF, so if you knock it over some contents will spill through the little vent hole, which is always open, but this sits nice and flat so it’s hard to knock over. It is the perfect shape for drinking without dribbling, unless your mouth is shaped funny. The lid is snug without requiring a prybar to open it. it’s easy to disassemble for cleaning (and by “disassemble” I mean separating the little slide-tab so goo doesn’t accumulate under it like in some other travel mugs). I’ve not noticed any separation of the soft jacket from the metal like others have. And this keeps my hot coffee hot for a very long time. I strongly recommend this mug! Ever since I got this, others keep asking me where I got it, and I’m happy to tell them.
