Dissatisfied
I keep using this although I am dissatisfied. The value for money is minimal. The moisturizing level is minimal. I would say that it may be greasy as it does not provide a good slate for when I put on makeup–even though there does not appear visibly to be residue–there is pilling with applying my makeup. It has not improved moisture in my skin at all.

Burning My Face. Not the Real Thing.
First off i want to say I love the REAL version.I bought this version of amazon 5 times (aka used this for 5 months). I have had issues with my skin burning while using moisturizers for a long time (i thought it was because my skin barrier was really bad). So i bought this to hopefully repair it. Well i was so very wrong, i used this for the first 2 months and noticed my skin itched a lot but i didn’t think anything of it because it had been doing that for a while due to dryness. Then by month 3 & 4 my face started to burn not a whole lot that you would inediatly draw red flags and throw that away (which i should have right away). Then my face got super red, my skin was crap before this product but slowly it started to get more and more red. Then i saw a video of someone who got a fake skincare product from Amazon. Thats when it all clicked. I started to smell it (like really smell it) and it smelled like chlorine (which i am Illergic to – Hense the red face and burning) So i immediatly threw it away.Then went to Ulta and checked out the realy version (had little to no smell & def. not chlorine). I bought it and have been using it for about a week and It has changed my skin even within this short amount of time. My face is not red, it reduced my blackheads, it make my skin feel moisturized, and most importantly it doesnt burn or itch anymore!!!

I’ve tried SOOOOO MANYYYYYYY moisturizers omg it’s insane!!!! After watching the budget dermatologist talk about this moisturizer I decided to give it a try and I’M SO HAPPY I DID this is perfect for my skin! I have acne prone sensitive skin that can be really dry on my forehead and on my smile expression. This is godsend, it moisturizers so much and I hate oily and sticky stuff and this is just perfect, I can finally say I found the one for me because I was about to give up really 🙁 try this and if you don’t like just return!——Update : after a few days using this moisturizer and loving it, I started breaking out really bad! It was the only thing I’ve changed in my skin care routine, and now I have 10+ pimples on my lovely face. It’s SO FRUSTRATING to be me sometimes. I believe this was caused by the dimethicone in this product plus I have niacinamide sensitivity so maybe they were the ones causing my break outs. So unfortunate. I will go back to my vanicream moisturizer (I like it but it isn’t the best for moisture! At least it won’t break me out!) good luck for anyone else.

Corn starch = doughy texture
The only thing I like about this product is that it is fragrance free. I don’t like the consistency which is somewhat waxy, and I definitely don’t appreciate that when it dries on the face , it starts rolling off into gooey dough- like little balls. And no, it is not exfoliated skin rolling off- it is the product.The biggest annoyance though is that the ingredients listed on the Amazon page are much different than the ingredients listed on the box . My box lists corn starch and squalene, but those aren’t suppose to be in there, and if they changed their ingredients , they need to update and disclose that to potential customers. I believe it is the starch in this cream that makes it “ pill” up , as so many other reviewers have noted.I definitely can not recommend this skin care product . I would imagine that there are better face creams at my local supermarket!

Severely drying, very disappointing quality.
Falsely advertised as moisterizing for all skin types, this product is diappointing and a waste of money. Instead of repairing my skin barrier, it actually strips my skin of moisture. I am very upset at the poor performance of this lotion, it dries out my skin so badly that my skin is stinging by the next day. The return window has passed and I unfortunately have no use for this other than maybe using as a hand cream.

Caused a bad break-out
I really wanted to like this and expected to with over 60k reviews. At first, I thought it was great. I liked how it felt on my skin and my skin had felt so soft after use AT FIRST. Within a week I started getting a pretty bad break-out on my chin and they wouldn’t go away. Then it started lightly spreading to my cheeks…. I haven’t had break-outs like this since high school and I’m 28, I’ll usually get 1 or 2 pimples when starting my period. Right now, my chin is fully broken out, and theres breakouts all over my cheeks and forehead. (Not cystic) but, my face does hurt a little bit.This moisturizer and their face wash was the only new products I’ve been using.I’m switching to Murad now and hoping that helps quickly.You only have 1 month to return it (fair enough) so if you aren’t liking it after a couple weeks, make sure you start the return! It’s too late for me.The products killed my self-confidence.

Did not like!!!
Horrible, I have beautiful skin until I used this! My face became red, and now I have acne, which I have not had in years! As soon as I put it on, I tried to wipe it off, because I realized it was not sealed. Not knowing if I opened it a few months before when I got it, I did not do a full face wash just with a cotton pad put on my make up over a semi cleaned off face and went on with my day today. My face still does not look the same. The coloring is off. I have pimples all over my cheeks and forehead, and my face is red like I have rosacea and this is after using it once and washing it off. My face now feels very dry and hoping it’s back to normal soon and feeling sorry for others with adverse reactions. Do not recommend and don’t even believe this is the real stuff.

This is the best lotion I’ve ever used; I even got my sister and her friend hooked on it after using mine on vacation. It’s very hydrating and works well with my dry sensitive rosacea skin. The first month, I used this only at night time and used a lighter cream in the day. Then, transitioned to morning and night. It is a rich hydrating cream, (not thick or feels heavy on your skin), just melts right in. However, if you drench your face in it… it will pill slightly. I have done this when I’m at home and my face is looking a little sad (dry) and then I rub my face a lot (the pills are not enough for me to care). Turns out I was just dehydrated. I wear this with makeup, alone and mix it into my products. It gives your face a nice sheen look… not too dewy/oily just gives a hydrated, young refreshed look. I wouldn’t go anywhere without this lotion and I highly recommend it!

I have an oily type that lacks moisture. So it’s always very tricky to find a right moisturizer for my skin.I was looking for it for the summer. It’s been 7 years since I’ve used the La Roche Posay skin care line, but it’s my first time using the Toleriane face moisturizer. I realized right away that I fall in loooooove it. I’ve been using it nearly two weeks now. It’s not too heavy or light, it’s moist a lot and very smooth texture. Even after applying it, my skin doesn’t feel tight. Also i like the enough amount! I always feel like I’m using up 40ml too fast. So good so far overall!
