I needed a foundation that was luminescent without being too shiny. In several articles, this foundation was consistently mentioned. It is better than described. The foundation is lightweight, has a great scent, goes own smoothly, and you need very little in order to achieve coverage. However, it is billable, if you want fuller coverage. Additionally, it blends well with all of the products that I’ve tried it with. Overall, an outstanding foundation, and I highly recommend so worth the money.

This is the one product I never let myself run out of—Lancôme’s Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation has been my holy grail for over seven years, and I have zero plans of switching!I have a very tricky skin tone that most brands can’t quite match—Sephora employees have even commented on how tough it is to find my shade. But this foundation nails it perfectly. Every time I’ve tried something else (out of curiosity or hype), people notice immediately that the finish is off or the color is slightly wrong. I always end up coming back to this—and now I don’t stray at all.Here’s why I’m so loyal:Skin-friendly: I have both acne-prone and eczema-prone skin, and this foundation never breaks me out or irritates me. Yes to all things Lancôme. The color choices were amazing. Many foundations claim to have the choice for your particular shade but I find that Lancôme is true. The foundation is easy to put on, it is fairly thick but a damp sponge will spread it easily. My skin looks flawless and great after application.

Good Long Lasting Foundation that sticks
First off, the bottle is gorgeous and has a very luxurious look. I have oily skin, and this often causes my foundation to slip off/ not stick through my entire day. One thing I love about this foundation is how well it sticks to my face. It goes on smoothly and feels light, but once its dry it stays PUT. It’s not the cheapest long wear foundation out there, but it certainly does what its supposed to do. Easy to use a little extra product for a full coverage effect, too.

Nothing like the Lancôme Teinte Idole Ultra Wear Stick Foundation
I tried this foundation after reading all of the rave reviews about it, and because I was going through the Teinte Idole Ultra Wear Stick Foundation too quickly to continue justifying the price. Well, I learned my lesson. This is NOT a full coverage foundation by any means. The coverage is awful, and you cannot build it up because it’s already so thick and unblendable as is, that adding any more foundation made the blemishes, lines, etc. even more prominent, and left the area that needed more coverage much darker than the rest of my face (more to come on this later). The time it takes to blend out – if it even ever did – is ridiculous! I tried a sponge – wet and dry -, a foundation brush and finally my fingers. Nothing worked. As a mom with 3 young children, I don’t have hours to donate to a liquid foundation that should be the exact same as its twin sister in stick form, that has been my go to foundation for the past 8 years. It is nothing like it, and was beyond frustrating to work with! As someone who is very acne-prone and very sensitive to products, I believed this foundation was truly non-comedogenic. Again, it’s not, and wrecked havoc on my skin. The shade match is not good either. I’m very fair skinned, and it makes winter skin/foundation matching very hard. I went with the color I have always used in the stick version – 110C, and it was wayyy too dark. This foundation accentuates every single fine line, wrinkle, blemish, pore, scar, etc. so badly, I’ve truly never seen a foundation like it! Especially a high-end one! I honestly could not believe this was the liquid form of the stick foundation that I’ve been using for years with such amazing results. I definitely learned my lesson though, and will continue to pay the money for the value I receive from the stick. Truly nothing else out there compares to how amazing the stick is. Lancôme, this liquid version is awful (and I’m being generous with this word). Please do better.

The coverage in this foundation is amazing. It lasts my whole work day and even some more. It applies on smooth and covers all blemishes. I am not a makeup expert, but rarely ever do I need to apply that green blemish concealer as this foundation covers everything. The end result looks airbrushed. I have used this for years. This shade is perfect for me as I like a more tanned look, during the winter time I go a shade lighter.
