The look and feel say something as I use this journal.
This journal reminds me each time I use it, that recording in it is special. It is not just another empty book to be used and discarded. The cover and strap are fitting, the paper though is really enjoyable to write on, if that’s a thing. The size of the paper fits well for my uses, not too small for my hand writing(older with some tremors), and not too large or too heavy to be included in my book bag. This reminds me that writing down records on paper is better than an electronic record. I’ve lost more journals than I can count as devices changed and old records can’t be accessed.

I’ve bought several of them!
I like this very much, so much that I’ve bought several of these in different colors. The leather is a nice appearance and I like the vibe it creates. The paper is nice and ink and water color do not bleed through, even when using larger amounts. I’m going to use them as sketch books for my experimentation and learning as I try different mediums. The loose tie allows one to add items to the pages if you want to journal and preserve the ephemera that goes with the memories. Note: The ‘colors’ are pretty random. While the Green is a nice green, the red one is brown with just a hint of red on the outside, the inside of the leather is pretty red, see the second photo.

Perfectly messy 😀
Perfect. Smelled awful, but it aired out after a while. The jagged placement and canvas feeling of the paper was felt so natural. Everything about this book inspired the eye with features that took this journal out of the standard modern quality you see in collage ruled note books. It’s the perfect amount of messy, leaving plenty of blank pages to let your imagination go wild. I love it. I began writing in it right away.

Very nice leather bound journal
Really nice journal, very well crafted. There was a note from the maker in the journal, which was a nice touch. It Really draws attention, and everybody wants to check it out. Only caveat – this is real leather, and it could have breathed a bit longer before shipping. I left it open for a day though, and the smell went from chemical to nice leather.If you’re in the market for a very nice journal/log book/spell Tome, this will fill the bill nicely.

Amazing journal with beautiful pages. Purchased this one for my son who was looking for a nice looking journal with leather. Doesn’t lay flat but does open to give good surface area. Has plenty of pages and is stitched together to be sturdy. Comes with a little note from the person who made the journal as well. Purchased one in a lighter color for myself to use as an art journal. Love the look and feel and would make a fantastic gift for anyone.

This is a really nice, quality real leather journal for your notes or travel adventures. It has enough paper in it to last quite a while and is a handsome piece to use as a decoration for staging purposes or as a conversation piece.

This note book is an interesting mix of the aesthetic and the practical. The look and construction of the notebook is highly unusual. It is a rustic design and the genuine distressed leather makes it, in my view, quirky and attractive.The buffalo leather covered journal is made in Jaipur, India, and the current price of £17.99 for a genuine leather, clearly hand made, notebook has to be a very good price for such an unusual item.The notebook paper is held in place by leather straps as I will try to illustrate with the attached images. Initially I wondered if it might be possible to replace the paper once used, but I think it would take considerable skill to do so, even though the leather is knotted rather than sewn.So I think this is probably a ‘love it or hate it’ article. I really like it and admire the rustic workmanship that has gone into its production. I will give it 5 stars in part because of its uniqueness
