To make reading the weight of your food easy while you’re cooking or prepping, the scale has a large 8-inch dial that measures in pounds in 2-ounce increments or kilograms in 50-gram increments. The sturdy construction of the steel base supports a large 9-1/2″ by 9-1/2″ stainless steel platform. The large weighing platform is ideal for weighing small portions and even large bowls. The zeroing adjustment knob lets you zero out the scale when using a bowl or other object for weighing, so you can get the most accurate reading possible. After you’re done using the scale, cleanup is easy because of the steel construction.
