Great Separation, Light Formula
This mascara really lifts and fans out lashes without clumping. The curved brush gets every corner, and the brown-black shade gives definition with a softer finish than standard black. It does take an extra pass or two for fuller volume, but the natural look is worth it if you prefer buildable length.

Great Drugstore Mascara
Love this mascara! I tried switching it up using a popular L’oreal one and it was an immediate no. I wiped it off my eye, applied this mascara and I was wondering over again with its performance. I have full and relatively long lashes and this mascara makes them stay up and look fluttery. I wear bold framed glasses which can sometimes hide my eyes. Wearing this mascara adds a little dazzle, making my eyes appear more open. Most days I don’t even bother with wearing eyeshadow. This just elevates your outer beauty (mascara in general does that). I’ve only tried the washable formula thus far and only in the shade Black/Brown. I hold the brush with the curve facing upward and just push it up my lashes while looking down. I also apply two coats; it adds volume without making your eyes look messy.Overall, just a great product.

I LOVE this mascara. While my lashes naturally curl, they’re blond. Not only does this stuff darken my lashes but extends them, making me look awake when I’m Zooming before coffee.Note: the reason it doesn’t get five stars is more to get your attention. See, I’ve been buying this product from Amazon since I first saw it (years), and the last couple of purchases have been more…goopy than they used to be. I don’t think this is a manufacturing issue, I think it’s that they’ve been sitting on Amazon shelves too long, because they’re behaving as if they’ve been opened for more than a year (mascara thicken up just before it goes bad).So please Amazon, if you’ve got super old product on your shelves, either dump it or return it to the brand for credit.

I have naturally long eyelashes. This is the only brand out of dozens I have tried that really does the job. Even within maybelline itself this is the only type that works.

I was looking for a mascara that lengthens without clumping and this proved to be a winner! I do usually remove a lot of excess product on the top of the tube before applying. Love the formula for lengthening with a bit of volume and keeping lashes curled.
