Pleasantly Surprised
I bought this on a whim because I saw a review video on it and hadn’t used it in years. It’s one of those products that you either love or hate. Well, I love it. It is so lightweight, yet the coverage is amazing. I have mature skin (59) and was so worried I would turn orange because of the oxidation. That did not happen. I worried about it amplifying my wrinkles and setting in there. That did not happen either. It goes on so smoothly, and it really is full coverage. Covered all my redness and made my skin beautifully smooth and even. I have tried to many foundations and I really love this one. I bought porcelain ivory thinking it was the lightest and it really matched my skin well. It wore all day and did not oxidize, I didn’t turn orange and it covered all my dark and red spots. I used my fingers to apply it and it was so velvety smooth. I am so happy I bought this to try, I am very impressed and recommend. And a little goes a long way! I will definitely buy again.

Good foundation
I really do like Maybelline foundations. I have tried this one before and liked it, but I do have a few minor issues with this. It has pretty good coverage and all, especially for acne and dark circles under eyes, but I do find that after a few uses, it gets a bit “crumbly.” This foundation literally has the texture of mousse, like the dessert. It’s very fluffy, soft, and blends well, but it does get a little bit of lumps in it, and sometimes little pieces fall when I go to put some onto my face. Also, even the lightest color is a little darkish, but it’s not really that noticeable. It’s a good product, but it is a bit pricey for such a small container. It does go a long way though, unless you like you wear a lot of foundation. I do sometimes use this as a concealer, especially under my eyes. Works pretty great. You don’t even need to put powder on top unless you really want to because it’s pretty thick and will stay on well. I recommend this product for those who want good coverage for acne or around their eyes and for those who get dry skin easily because this does not dry out skin. It makes your skin look moist, smooth, and healthy. I would say that the coverage is really good, yet, it doesn’t make you look fake. It covers up imperfections perfectly, but not overwhelmingly. It actually looks pretty natural. I usually like to wear heavier foundations, but I like to wear this one when I’m in a hurry because it’s very quick and easy to put on.

Beautiful coverage!
I am so very impressed with this product. With just a small amount, it covers flawlessly. It’s light weight and there is no need for pressed powder. It blends in with your skin without any irritation which is great for me because I have sensitive skin. I’ve been using the same product for 7 years and now I found something I like better…and it’s affordable!

I used to use this in high school!
I used to use this product in high school. I can’t remember why I initially stopped using it, but I would think it’s because there were so many other products out there that I wanted to try. I like that the formula almost feels whipped and is easy to apply and blends into your skin. I used the same foundation shade in high school and it still seems to be the same formula/shade as before so I feel the color matches my skin tone as well as what’s advertised. If you like more of a mouse type foundation similar to tarte Amazon clay then this is similar, which is what I had actually been using before this. In my opinion, I feel that you’re getting your moneys worth with this as a little goes a long way for me. I don’t feel it clogs my pores or makes my skin break out. I work in an office, but I don’t need to reapply the foundation once I put it on in the morning. All in all, it’s a good product and would recommend.

It’s not horrible!
I don’t hate this product but I don’t love it either. The coverage for me isn’t that great but I’ve had worse.The Bad:1. I have a lot of redness and my skin isn’t very smooth due to old acne scaring. My skin, however, isn’t even as bad as some of the others I’ve seen, so I’d imagine it would be worse if you have moderate to severe acne scaring. This brand of makeup didn’t really sit well on my skin and sort of slid around into the scars and made them stand out more.2. I tried using a brush to apply it but dabbing it on lightly with my fingers and gently smudging it outward seemed to blend it better. But either way it just doesn’t apply very easily (see 3 for reasons why)3. The texture isn’t really a mousse or foam. It tends to pill up and isn’t as smooth as one would wish.Having said all the negatives there are also some great qualitiesThe Good:1. I know it’s horrible but I’m so self conscious about my skin that I wear makeup when I go outside to walk my dog or workout and this makeup is light enough where it doesn’t melt off or feel like you’re wearing a ton of it. Goes on quick so you can be out the door in seconds.2. It doesn’t cover all the redness but it doesn’t do a horrible job either. I could go out just wearing this and feel ok about it but generally I wear it over my liquid oil-free neutrogena makeup and it gives it a nice matte finish and covers up blemishes.
