I got this MEGO Fluffy Faux Rabbit Fur Bed Blanket in white because I wanted a pretty white winter blanket to layer over my white quilt set. I wanted something that would look cozy and elegant on our bed while adding extra warmth for cooler nights.* Style & Appearance: This blanket looks beautiful draped across my bed and sofa. The wide-striped faux fur has a plush texture. I think it makes the room look softer and more finished. The overall look is high-end without being fussy, and the white color adds a clean, bright touch to a winter bedroom.* Color Quality: The white is crisp and consistent throughout, with no patchiness or dullness. It complements other whites nicely and looks good with light neutrals, beige, gray or metallic accents.* Size: I ordered the 60″ x 90″ size so it would have a fuller, more substantial look on our king bed. It covers the top surface nicely and drapes partway down the sides, which is exactly what I wanted. I also tried it out on our sofa (it’s very cozy there). But I think I may end up keeping it in the guest bedroom. Not sure. Looks good everywhere.* Fabric & Material: This blanket is made of OEKO-TEX certified fabric. I actually purposefully look for blankets with this, since it’s tested for safety and free from harmful chemicals. I have another favorite high-end brand that uses this as well. The front side of this blanket has a fluffy faux rabbit fur texture that feels luxuriously soft, though it doesn’t actually mimic real fur (which is fine with me). The reverse side is a smooth faux velvet. That side is still soft, but not as plush as the fur side.* Sensory (Feel & Texture): It’s very fluffy, soft, and feels great. The faux fur side feels warm and snuggly without being too heavy. The faux velvet backing gives it a nice balance between warmth and flexibility. It does have a chemical smell straight out of the package so you’ll want to air it out or wash it.* Craftsmanship & Stitching: The blanket is well-constructed, with even stitching and neatly finished edges. The wide stripe pattern is attractive and adds texture. The only small drawback is that in the seams between the fur rows, you can see a bit of the mesh webbing underneath if you look closely. It slightly cheapens the look but doesn’t affect comfort or durability.* Anticipated Durability: It appears sturdy and well-made. The stitching feels secure, and the fibers don’t shed noticeably. It seems like it will hold up to regular use for several seasons if washed gently.* Functionality: This blanket works well as a decorative layer or as a cozy throw. It’s thick enough for added warmth in winter but light enough to fold and store easily. I think it’s really at its best when folded at placed at the end of the bed as an accent.* Versatility: It’s totally appropriate for both bedroom and living room use, and the neutral white color fits in with most décor styles, from modern minimalist to farmhouse. It would also make a nice gift, especially in one of the other color options like beige or gray.* Washability & Care: According to the tag, it can be machine washed in cold water and tumble dried on low. I’d recommend washing it separately to preserve its fluffiness. Skipping heat and bleach will help maintain the soft texture and prevent matting.* Value for the Cost: At the time I’m writing this, the price of 36.99 feels fair for the quality and size. The combination of softness, appearance, and OEKO-TEX certification makes it a good buy, I’d say.* Bottom Line: This is a soft, cozy, and attractive faux fur blanket that looks elegant in white and feels luxurious to the touch. It’s well-made for the price, with only minor cosmetic flaws. I’m very happy with it and plan to use it throughout the colder months.

So soft and comfortable
This fluffy faux rabbit fur blanket is amazingly soft, cozy and warm. It is the perfect size for lounging on the couch or just laying on the bed. The white color makes the blanket look expensive, elegant, and classy. The warmth of the blanket is surprisingly impressive without feeling heavy. You can add this as an extra layer to your bed on a cold night. The fur side is silky and soft on your skin. The velvety side is awesome because animal hair rolls right off of it and the material itself does not shed. This blanket is machine washable in cold water and tumble dry on a low heat setting. The blanket itself stay nice and soft after washing. I would recommend washing alone to keep it’s beautiful color.

Backing is slightly different color but feels magnificent
I bought the beige and couldn’t be more happy with the look and feel. It could easily be mistaken for something double the price. If the back/border MUST be the exact same color you may want to try a different color as the border and backing are slightly different hue of beige, see pictures. It is almost a warm pink over true beige. Back color aside it is well made and while I am afraid to wash it… it seems as good of quality to similar I have seem in Kohls and Target. You can see the fabric backing material in-between the lines of faux fur but even ones that cost triple seem to do this so I don’t think it is inferior. I could not be more happy at this price, it feels like luxury on the skin.

Just arrived today, and has been declared the house favourite blanket. There was a small battle between the kids to claim it before I stepped in and designated it the couch blanket for the winter.One side is soft, with long fur, similar to a well-groomed car. The other side is silky, smooth and minky fabric.The tag says polyester, and from previous experience with other blankets, make sure that you wash it on cold, and don’t even let the dryer breathe on it. Otherwise the silky strands will melt and fuze together, and loose that softness.Price is fair, and average for something that is so warm and cuddly.

This blanket is really soft even the one side is a none fluffy material its also really soft. The blanket is thin but its actually quite heavy so gives it a cozy feel for those cold days. I washed it as soon as I got it on a normal cycle in both the washer and the dryer and it came out still fluffy, I was worried but I guess I shouldn’t have been. This is a nice blanket, worth the money.

I have an 11-year-old daughter who loves all things pink, so when I saw this pink faux-fur throw, I just had to get it for her. I ordered the throw in the 60” x 90” size and it came tightly rolled and packaged in plain, clear plastic with a packaging insert. The way it is packaged makes it easy to throw in a gift bag, if you were considering giving it as a gift. No odd smells were noted upon opening.I see the pink throw is no longer being offered here and I am assuming that is because it is now sold out. It’s a lovely candy floss pink of the type that little girls or tween girls, in particular, would love. In the product description, this item is described as being “faux rabbit fur”, but it doesn’t look nor feel like fur at all…it’s more like that very plush shag fleece that some stuffed animals are made of. The throw is surprisinglyi lightweight for its size and is also quite a bit thinner than it appears in the photos of the product listing. It is made of a polyester fabric and is soft, fluffy, and plush to the touch. The underside of the blanket is a crystal velvet (also made of polyester) which feels a lot like minky (often used in baby blankets) in that it is super-soft and velvety and has a bit of a shimmery effect to it. Polyester is not at all breathable, so despite this throw being rather lightweight and thin, it will still keep you toasty warm, since it traps body heat effectively. Polyester also has very good moisture-wicking properties, so if you tend to sweat at night sometimes, this throw will keep you dry. The top of the throw is done in wide vertical strips, which adds even more texture to it, making it look extra cozy to the eye. The only issue with this design detail is that you can see the webbing in between the strips when you are up close to it, which is an obvious sign that this blanket isn’t high quality. The backing seems like it was cut a little too large as it tends to sag somewhat. There is no filling or batting between the top and back pieces for added insulation. The sewing has been well done with straight hems, no erratic sewing present, and no loose threads to note. This throw has been OEKO-TEX standard 100 certified, which means this throw meets global standards that have deemed all of the materials used in its manufacture non-toxic, fire retardant, and safe.My daughter was crazy for this throw…as soon as she got it, she took it off to her room, snuggled up, and watched some television. She snuggles up in this throw quite often when she is sleeping or involved in quieter pursuits. She also keeps it in her room so no one else can use it…lol. My daughter also loves that this throw matches the pink, faux-fur duvet cover on her bed. When it’s not in use, she generally folds it lengthwise and places it across the end of her bed. It lends her bedroom quite a bit of warmth aesthetically, since it has lots of texture to it. My daughter says she loves the feel of both the top and the back of the blanket, but she especially loves the crystal velvet backing because it is so silky soft. I should also note that this blanket has caused her no irritation whatsoever and is not itchy/scratchy. It seems like, whenever she is in her room, she is cocooned inside of it. I have found no evidence of shedding, which is amazing to me, since many faux-fur blankets like these tend to shed. Overall, I’m glad I got this throw for my daughter since she is very happy with it…and that makes me happy.Washing instructions state that this throw can be machine-washed or hand-washed, though I really couldn’t imagine attempting to hand-wash something of this sort. It should be machine-washed alone in cold water, since polyester doesn’t like heat. I would advise against using products containing bleach or fabric softener on this throw since they can damage and/or coat the fibres, which will affect the throw’s durability and softness. Since the weather has turned cold, I can’t really air-dry this throw on the line, so I tumble-dry it on a low-heat setting, making sure not to over-dry it, since this type of fabric is prone to melting when overheated. I like to give the throw a few shakes to fluff it up before placing it in the dryer. I also throw a few laundry balls in the dryer with it to soften it and fluff the fibres a bit. I washed it once I could pry it away from my daughter, since, ideally, I like to wash new bedding before it is used. This throw held up well so far, with no shrinking, shedding, colour bleed, or fading noted.At just a penny under $50, I find this throw a little overpriced, considering the fabrics used are of middling quality. It’s a decent throw for children, but I don’t think it’s something that would suit an adult, since I’m not sure most adults would be thrilled with its quality. You should also keep in mind that this won’t suit as a bed covering, since it’s not long enough to cover a twin bed…it is definitely throw sized. But it’s perfect for your child to cocoon themselves in while watching a favourite TV show. I hope this review will help you to make the purchasing decision that is right for you and your family.
