Let me preface this by saying that although I love her dearly, my mother did not teach me how to properly wash my hair or show me what products to use. However, with a bit of research a couple years ago I learned that my thick/coarse hair needed proper attention to retain moisture and grow healthy/reduce frizz. In comes Moroccanoil, and specifically the Moisture Repair line. I have used this stuff religiously since 2023, and my hair has never been more beautiful and healthy. It’s the kind of quality you can see and feel, where the first pass doesn’t produce suds because it is actually PULLING the oil and grime from your hair. The second pass gives you that lather to assure you the roots are getting a proper cleaning. For anyone with coarser hair who wants to see and feel a difference, give this stuff a try. I wash my hair on average about every five days; the $28 bottle lasts me around three months, so it is well worth the investment over cheaper brands, which add residue and force you to do more frequent washes. If you have coarse hair and care about having strong, healthy locks, do yourself a favor and get this.

First Ever Review & My Honest Opinion
I’ve never written a review for a product before but with this Shampoo I HAVE TO. This honest review is for the girlies who have been struggling to find a hair shampoo that stays within their budget and expectations, the girlies who have gone over thousands of reviews for different products and yet none of them came out to be what they promised, yet gives you the results you’ve dreamed of, I have gone through easily 50 different types of shampoos in my 22 almost 23 years and I have finally found the perfect match. Yes, you read that right, I stepped outside of my comfort zone financially and I do not regret it. I would describe my hair as fine but a lot of it at the same time. I would also like to note that I have scalp psoriasis, the back of my scalp to the nape of my neck, very uncomfortable, very embarrassing, but hey what can you do? Anyways, WOW has this shampoo been a game changer for it. I have been using this shampoo for 2-3 months now and after only the first use the dramatic change to both my hair and my psoriasis is game changing! To say I have never felt more confident and comfortable would be an understatement. My head has never felt more taken care of! Bye-Bye dryness HELLO moisture! Obviously, I still need my coconut butter for my neck to really take away that redness (and yes ladies, if you’ve been struggling with psoriasis/eczema I promise you coconut butter will be your new best friend) but the magic this stuff contains is outta this world. The smell alone is intoxicating, even my husband thinks so! I now have the hair of my dreams and it is entirely thanks to this shampoo. (I highly recommend pairing it with the conditioner as I did, I easily go a couple days without brushing my hair, thank you postpartum, and there hasn’t been a single knot the conditioner hasn’t taken care of for me!) this review is rather long, I apologize, but there is just so much I can/could say about this shampoo that you honestly just need to experience yourself to truly understand… thank you for reading and I do hope your search for the perfect combo of hair care is successful like my experience! My hair is very dry and gets tangled very easily, after using this shampoo and the conditioner and the oil my hair is the softest it’s ever been, I’m talking about so soft my hair ties have been having a hard time staying in my hair hahah! I love it! , smells great!! And doesn’t look as damaged as it was looking before! it seems like my hair is less oily after using this product as well even with adding the oil into my hair! Absolutely love it will buy again! (:

Great shampoo, grandma smell, a bit expensive
The shampoo is fine. My hair has this weird burnt smell out of nowhere (I don’t use any heat appliances on it, nor do I own hairspray and I blow-dry very rarely, like once in 6mos) and I read online that argan oil shampoos help with that so I bought this and the one from OGX to try both. This one worked fine and got rid of the burnt smell. Hair was soft and hydrated. My only problem with it was the old lady smell. Something they put in the fragrance of the shampoo, I just didn’t like. It might smell nice to some but to me it smelled like my grandma’s perfume. Other than that it’s great. A little too expensive though.

Miracle shampoo!
The shampoo is a miracle. My frizzy hair has never responded to a shampoo, but this one works! I bought the Moisture repair and I also found it through the Blowout Professor on YouTube. His videos are very informative.

Leaves your hair feeling soft and practically tangle free
I highly recommend the Moroccan hair products.I bought this shampoo and several of their hair care products based upon the recommendation of “The BlowOut Professor” on YouTube after taking the test on his website. My hair had been seriously damaged from trying to get my hair professionally bleached and toned to a silver gray (which turned out blonde) and from using purple shampoo.I noticed an incredible improvement right away, while I was still shampooing my hair. My hair was very soft and hardly had any tangles. I used their repair pretreatment first, then their shampoo, conditioning mask, and afterwards, their oil.(The professional products I had used previously always made my hair feel like straw with massive tangles.)You don’t need to use a lot of the shampoo either. At first I did, but then I realized I could get a good cleaning lather with less. I do wash my scalp twice. I probably use way too much of the hair repair pretreatment, mask, conditioner, and oil and probably leave it on longer than necessary, but if you saw all the breakage and splits ends I had previously, you’d understand.

My damaged hair has improved beyond all hope, using this with morrocan oil conditioner and other products for dry weak hair. The volumiser shampoo in this range was a disaster so avoid on this hair type, although I did question its authenticity .
