Good Sunscreen, NOT unscented
Pros: Descent sunscreen, trusted brand, works as described. It would be great for folks who are looking for a sunscreen that goes on easily and who don’t mind the scent. Doesn’t feel greasy.Cons: White gets all over clothing and items -White gets on my running clothes and needs to be washed off, which is ok because I have to wash clothing after running anyway. It may be more problematic if I was going to use it with fancier clothing. Unclear if once it’s blended into skin if it will still do this as I typically apply before running and avoid the sun otherwise.Scent: I was looking for a sunscreen that was unscented and this sunscreen is listed as unscented (see photo below) It absolutely has a scent, very floral and heavy when first applied. The scent sort of goes away, but I have migraines that are triggered by scents. So this just won’t work for me. I’m trying out the new fragrance free option. Hoping that one will be the same only actually unscented. 🤞

A Good Sunscreen With A Few Issues
This is a good sunscreen. I had a couple issues though: the scent is annoying (and entirely unnecessary in any sunscreen as it is a photosensitizer), and it does leave a slight white cast even on my extremely fair skin. The texture is nice and it has good spreadability. It will burn eyes, as do most American sunscreens, if you put it on lids so beware of that problem. I use it on my arms, upper chest, & backs of hands and it provides adequate protection.

White residue left behind, causes skin irritation around eyes
It works how it’s supposed to and doesn’t leave a visible white cast BUT it does leave white residue behind if you don’t wash your hands after applying or if your face touches anything.I wear dark colors so because it leaves residue so easily, I had to find a different sunscreen.I have sensitive skin as well and I found that it made then thin skin around my eyes burn after washing it off at the end of the day. So avoid using it on your eye lids and under your eyes (which in my opinion defeats the whole purpose of getting sunscreen specifically for the face but to each their own) if you have sensitive skin like me.

As a woman past 40 with acne and sensitive skin, I’m constantly searching for sunscreen that doesn’t make me break out or irritate. A couple of years ago, while in the tropics during winter, everyone thought I had a bad sunburn, but no, it was hives all over my chest, neck, and face. I looked like a swollen lobster, which is not a good look when you are actually eating lobster.I’ve tried every brand I can find in all different price ranges. Inevitably, I toss the ones that make me break out in hives or are super irritating, and most of the remaining clog my pores or otherwise encourage facial acne, so they end up in a bag for the rest of my family to use. The last time I was at a beach, I just hauled out my failed pricey facial sunscreens, slathered them all over my legs, and wore a gigantic hat.Then my blue-eyed red-headed niece (extremely sensitive to the sun) told me about Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen . Her dermatologist had recommended it because of her acne issues. I was a bit skeptical because I’d been prescribed all kinds of treatments by my dermatologist, and none of them worked very well, but I’ve been using this all this summer and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I still wear a hat because we all know no sunscreen protects 100%, but most importantly, my skin has actually gotten clearer.It’s expensive but worth it if, like me, every other sunscreen makes you break out in rash or pimples. As you can see in the pictures, a small amount goes a long way and is completely sheer with no residue. One pump from the applicator is exactly enough for the face and neck.It’s not super moisturizing, but if I apply my moisturizer first and give it time to settle, I can benefit from both. Another great advantage of this lotion is that it can be reapplied without residue building up. I’ve used products that get gross after a couple of layers, but this really is very sheer and seems to absorb completely into the skin.There is no added fragrance, so you don’t have to worry about weird odors, All around, really good sunscreen.

Peeling and white cast is terrible, difficult to layer well. Make sure not to put it around the yes either, stings so bad and eyes would be watering.
