Well Formatted
This is a beautiful copy of the 2011 NIV Bible! The hardcover is strong and protects the pages better than a leatherbound or soft-cover would. By simply skimming through the pages, the reader can notice that the publishers were not afraid of using as much paper as needed. The font is a readable size and the generous spacing and margin size make it less intimidating to look at than many older copies of the Bible. The pages – although still thin – are considerably thicker than copies that are not designed for note taking; the average, black-ink, ballpoint pen will not bleed through but a highlighter will.Each page of Scripture is formatted in one column alongside a wide margin on the outer edge that has been lightly lined for note taking. These margins encompass about a third of each page. Furthermore, there has also been provided several lined pages solely for extra notes at the end. This is an excellent edition for people who enjoy taking notes!

Great Bible I purchased for my husband. He is a VERY new Christian, so it is hard for him to understand the Bible. This one is clear and stays true to the Word, while still allowing for new believers to comprehend the verses! It’s got a sturdy cover!

I’ve had my Bible for just under a year now and I’ve begun to put it through its paces (it certainly puts me through mine)! Sometimes I just want to make notes and pray and sometimes I just want to be with Him and paint. This Bible so far has taken it all. Provided you use a piece of kitchen roll beneath your pages as you work this Bible is very happy with micron pens, napkins, washi tape, water colour, acrylics, gesso, matt gel etc. I use wax Bible highlighters, they just work better for me. But the point is, the paper is plenty thick enough to bring your Bible to life in whatever way works for building your relationship with him. I’ve used printed vellum inserts for notes and allsorts. You can have alot and the vest kind of of joy with Him with a Bible like this and I pray that you do. If I could have this bible in NLT I would. Maybe next time. If you do want to insert lots of pages and notes like me then it might be worth you investing or making your own Bible case to keep everything safe inside to protect it. 🙏
