✅ NON-DISTRACTING FIDGET – Unlike spinners, the ONO Roller Jr soothes stress without disrupting focus–it’s completely silent. Fidget and play without turning heads in the classroom.
✅ MADE FOR SMALL HANDS – The Roller Jr is a smaller and softer version of our innovative sensory and fidget toy. It’s also more lightweight, making it ideal for teens, kids, and those with a smaller grip.
✅ INNOVATIVE & UNIQUE – You won’t find a toy as satisfying as this fidget roller. Our patented fidget gadget helps improve mental clarity and ease stress using the relaxing rotations of the rollers.
✅ MULTIPLE WAYS TO PLAY – Move the toy by curling your fingertips or sliding it between your palms. The ONO can be rolled across any surface or used to massage. There’s no wrong way to play!
✅ A DURABLE SENSORY TOY – Our hand roller fidgets are engineered to withstand heavy fidgeters. They’re made using heavy-duty ABS plastic with a matte soft-touch surface that won’t chip or fade.

    Which ONO roller fits you?
EDIT April 2024: Since writing this review, ONO has revamped their line: you can now buy virtually every one of their rollers in either normal or “junior” sizes. I own a representative of every roller other than the Titanium and Steel (I own the Steel mini, but as you’ll discover below, it’s too heavy for me so I’ve never been interested in the even-more-expensive-and-similarly-weighted titanium). The textured silicone roller is fine. I don’t find myself reaching for it much myself, but if you have someone who likes interesting textures it’s probably a solid choice. The “junior” size aluminum roller is my perfect to-go roller and has replaced my standard-size ONO in my jacket pocket; if you’re looking for a portable roller, I HIGHLY recommend the juinor aluminum. All the good things about the original ONO and their plastic junior models in one roller. I thought it might be too small for my hands, but it’s not. I still wish they’d expand their lines to offer the “mini” size roller in something other than steel, but until/unless that happens the junior aluminum is probably the closest to a “one size fits all” roller you’re liable to find.My original ONO still has a place on my desk, though; I use it almost every day. Really wonderful products.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I’ve been looking for a silent fidget for a while now to help me stay focused during interminable video chat meetings, and after discovering ONO roller I…might have gone a little ONO crazy. I now own at least one roller from every single one of their lines (ONO roller original in black, 3x ONO roller juniors in various colors, and the ONO steel mini). So, first off: you really can’t go wrong with ONO rollers. I love these things. The build quality is absurdly good, they do exactly what they advertise, and they feel great. The primary downside is that they’re a little expensive, but given that unless I submerse the thing in water or something it’s likely to outlive me…well, I personally find the cost completely worth it.All that said, there *are* some downsides to ONO rollers, and it’s not easy to guess which will work for you personally with the existing reviews and marketing information that I could find. So here’s a run-down of every product that I own with an eye towards helping folks make informed decisions without buying out the entire product line! Before I begin: I’m a guy who is 6’2″ and my hands are relatively large; I can span 10 notes on a piano if I stretch a little bit. So keep that in mind when I talk about fit.A downside shared by every single ONO roller (but mitigated slightly by the ONO Junior, due to its light weight) is that these are *not very ergonomic*. Rolling an ONO roller is a repetitive motion, and especially with the non-Junior models these things are heavy enough to put a bit of stress on the tendons in your forearm. I personally am a fast fidgeter; my impulse when I grab an ONO is to start spinning it around as fast as I can (or in time to the beat of whatever music I’m listening to), and this is a good way to build up physical stress, particularly if you are holding your hand in a non-neutral position. If you have a history of repetitive stress issues in your forearms, you might want to be careful about your choice of ONO, unless you’re planning to roll it more sedately than I tend to; you *definitely* don’t want the ONO steel (mini or otherwise) in this instance.ONO Original: this is by far my favorite ONO. It’s heavy, but not too heavy. It fits my hand perfectly (and for those with smaller hands, my wife–who is 5’4″ with normal size hands for her height–can roll it comfortably, though she said it’s a little bigger than she’d like). It also feels the best out of the two metal ONO lines; the matte aluminum finish is really, really satisfying (particularly cold; I like to leave it out on my desk and roll it in small stints). It reaches body temperature relatively quickly, and still feels good (kind of works like a hand warmer if you keep it in your jacket pocket). I will probably get a second one of these to just leave in my jacket permanently while the other stays at my desk. My main quibble with the Original is that the matte finish makes it somewhat slippery (my hands tend to run dry). This means that if I hold my hand in a neutral position with the roller vertical, it quickly slides its way out of my grip. I find it most comfortable to use in my jacket pocket, with my hand hanging at my side in a neutral position, or lying with my palm at a neutral angle in my lap (this works because I can brace the bottom of the roller against my leg if it starts to slip, and I have a broader range of positions that don’t cause stress to my forearm).ONO Junior: aside from some exploratory spins, I haven’t really used this one as much because it’s just a little too small for me (I bought them as stocking stuffers when my kids of 7 and 9 years were really interested in my ONO but couldn’t comfortably fit it in their hands). ONO Junior is a really great product, though: the weight is *much* more tolerable for long stints, the colors look fantastic, and the ABS plastic has a bit of a rougher texture that combines with the weight to make them a little less likely to slide out of my hand (still slides if my hands are dry, though). If I had slightly smaller hands, I’d happily go Junior-only.ONO Steel mini: this is a weird little product for me. I *love* the form factor; it’s somewhere between half to two thirds as tall as the ONO Original while maintaining the same width, and it fits perfectly in my palm as a result. However, I don’t much like how the stainless steel feels; its shiny finish tends to quickly pick up a little oil from my hands and just feels kind of gummy compared to the Original. It’s also too heavy; I’m super happy I didn’t spring for the full-size ONO Steel, because I bet I would have hated the weight on that one. On the other hand, the weight is kind of nice in that it forces me to roll it really nice and slow because it puts uncomfortable stress on my fingers otherwise (so it might actually be easier to avoid repetitive stress with this thing as long as I’m careful to keep my hand in a neutral position and be mindful about how I’m using it). The shiny stainless steel also feels needless flashy to me; my matte black ONO Original just kind of quietly blends in while the Steel mini tries to grab attention, even mostly engulfed in my palm. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet (because I’m addicted to the Original), but if I can stand having something this heavy in my pocket I suspect the Steel mini is going to be my favorite to-go roller. As a reference for weight, I have an iPhone 13 in a plastic case; the Original weighs a little less than the iPhone + case (but it’s hard to tell the difference), and the Steel mini noticeably weighs more.I think my theoretical perfect ONO would be the form factor of the Mini steel or Original with the ABS plastic of the Junior. Since that doesn’t exist, the closest thing for me is the ONO Original. All that said, you’re going to love ONO rollers; they really are a fantastic fidget. Hopefully this overview of their few downsides will help you pick the right model for you, so you don’t have to buy up their entire catalog to find your perfect fit!EDIT after more testing: The Steel mini is indeed too heavy for to-go use for me. Maybe if it were in a pants pocket (effectively serving as a second phone-size weight), but a jacket pocket is no good. It also requires wiping down way too often because it picks up oil from my skin like you wouldn’t believe. It’s getting retired to my second-string, emergency roller lineup. Second, I MIGHT have purchased a second ONO Original to take on the go (I don’t have a problem, YOU have a problem!). If you grab an ONO Original, I highly recommend taking a damp (*not* wet!) antibacterial wipe and giving it a once-over when you open it up. My second Original felt weirdly sticky compared to my first one (which I had already wiped down, thanks to it coming into close contact with my cold-ridden child’s grabby paws at one point), and an antibacterial wipe fixed it right up; I assume the factory coats them in something to keep the finish nice during shipment, and they feel sooooo much better when you strip that junk off.

Good for knitters, crocheters, embroiderers, etc.
I like to do needle crafts in the evening. I keep this handy to use during little breaks, and helps to keep my hands from cramping up. The feel of it is very smooth and the ball bearings glide very smoothly as well. I bought the rose color which I think looks very pretty. I’m happy with this purchase. I bought two more for gifts for family members who crochet. I think they’ll like it too.

    One of the best
My sensitive daughter loves fidget spinner things and this is her favorite. Can’t blame her, it’s really enjoyable. We got the silicone one for our child but I imagine the metal models are worth it, too.

It’s good to keep my mind off things.
The ONO roller is fine and I find myself using it more and more. My finger tips are losing some skin due to rolling. I do notice that it takes my focus off negative things and does calm. Exactly how much? I need to do spend more time doing it. I’m older and suffer from arthritis and carpel tunnel. I must admit it does not help those issues. I have to limit my use now, but I really do enjoy it.

High quality, satisfying, weighty, but somehow too short and too wide for smaller hands (imo).
I got this mini fidget in stainless steel a couple years or so ago, opting for it over the regular size since my hands are kind of small. I did like the heavy metal and smooth rolling, but this version was still a bit too chunky for me. Still very nice, high quality, and super satisfying fidget! I got the junior size and it is perfect!

Too heavy for me but the mini weighs more
This review contrasts the weight difference between the Ono aluminum jr roller, their mini stainless steel roller (it only comes in SS) and Ono’s slider.I bought the black jr aluminum roller. It’s too heavy for me. If you’re older like me I’d consider the weight. It weighs 599.657 ounces. So I thought I’ll try the mini. You’d expect it to weigh less. But it only comes in stainless steel and it weighs 987.671 ounces. That’s a difference of 387.974. Believe me. That’s a lot. So if you think the jr aluminum is too heavy like me, don’t get the mini roller.*However* all is not lost lol. Ono’s slider is *incredibly* soothing (i got the aluminum) and I might like it even better than the roller if it were a lighter weight. The slider only weighs 3.527 ounces! If the weight of the jr aluminum is too much for you try the slider. I think you’ll be delighted.Edit: After I’d written this review I double checked to see if ono had a roller with a lighter weight. They did. The jr plastic roller only weighs 2.998 ounces coming in as the lightest roller and even lighter than the slider *which I still recommend*. So I bought the plastic jr roller. It wasn’t too heavy. It was just right. So that’s my review. Get the ono roller that works for you *and* get the ono slider. It’s really fun, and soothing.

    Hefty and smooth
I love this thing. It was a real splurge, but it’s exactly the sort of stim I like. I like metal toys that are cool to the touch and some weight to them. They’re so much more durable than plastic. This is a quality stim toy too. The movement on this is smooth and silent. It fits right in my hand and it’s easy to turn it over and over. Great for anxiety or mulling things over. Pretty color too.

It’s ~300grams and its weight makes my hand tired after a while which is very good for me. I had the opportunity to try the alumium one and it’s very light and the texture doesn’t feel as good as the metal. Happy with the purchase. very smooth action and feels really good. i’m autistic and have adhd

I’ve been using the ONO Roller (Aluminum, Grey) for a week, and I absolutely love it. The build quality is premium — solid aluminum with a really smooth motion that feels great in the hand. It’s completely silent, so I can use it during meetings or while working without distracting anyone. It genuinely helps me stay focused and calm, especially during long work sessions. I also like how compact and portable it is — easy to carry around or keep on my desk. It’s a bit pricey compared to basic fidget toys, but the quality and finish make it worth it. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something durable, professional-looking, and effective for focus and stress relief.

Stainless Steel Mini: very well built, looks more like a fancy expensive fashion accessory, has a nice weight, smooth and silent. Pricey, but better buy this one rather than 5 cheap ones, in my opinion.

This roller is definitely one of the highest quality fidget toys I’ve tried in terms of build quality and heft, with a very solid and smooth movement. However, this same heft means that it is a little unwieldy; if your hands aren’t the largest or strongest, you may find the roller to be slightly too large to roll around in your hand in one smooth motion, and slightly too heavy to idly use while focusing on something else, especially if your hand is raised.A slightly scaled down version might be perfect. As it is, it can’t really fulfil its purpose as a fidget toy since its weight & size requires too much attention/concentration to let your hand autonomously fidget with it. Would definitely buy such a version if it were announced.
