Not Shiny At All!
I was expecting this pearl powder to shine like a pearl because that is what is shown. In actuality, it is not like that at all. As you can see in the photos, it has a grayish-white color when mixed with liquids. You can see that if you look at my mixing container and I used a lot – about a teaspoon in less than one ounce.So, if you use it in cosmetics, you will positively get no shimmer from it whatsoever. The photo of it is on my finger right after I wetted it. It looks like baking soda.I was looking for a shimmer for my DIY face cream because a shimmer gives the face a refreshed look. Looks like I’m going back to using mica.

Maybe this is an off batch run, but the pearl powder is more of a chalky texture. The ones I have used in the past have a nice glide to them. This is more chalk like consistency.
