Our Company History
In 1928, at the age of twenty-two, Peter Beilenson began printing books on a small press in the basement of his parents’ home in Larchmont, New York. Peter—and later, his wife, Edna—sought to create fine books that sold at ”prices even a pauper could afford.”
Today, still family owned and operated, Peter Pauper Press continues to honor our founders’ legacy—and our customers’ expectations—of beauty, quality, and value.

Mystic Moon Journal
I am taking a class about the moon and this is the perfect journal in which to keep my notes. I love the quality of the paper and the pocket in the back is very handy for stickers and small bits of ephemera. The cover is gorgeous and I am very happy with this product. I would highly recommend this item.

Gorgeous!
This book is absolutely gorgeous in person! I don’t know what I am going to put in it yet but it was a gift to myself for Christmas. I had been eyeing it for a couple years and decided zi better grab it before they discontinue it! The Peter Pauper Press books are always super nice quality. I own several and that is the brand I always look up of I am in the need of a cheap but super good quality notebook.

PPP delivers as always, but why is there a spine logo?
I buy Peter Pauper press books a LOT. They’re really gorgeous, I love that the covers have actual texture and foil. This one is as always, but this is my first time buying one of the journals of this size and I was disappointed to see a logo on the spine. None of the journals I’ve bought prior to this had one, and I really prefer my blank journals not to have visible logos on them as I love the way they align on my shelf. I got this one for my work notes so that I’d have a smaller size in my backpack and it’s really cute but if the spine logo is typical of this size journal I’ll probably stick to the larger ones.EDIT: Oh, yeah, I definitely have to stick to the larger ones. I’m a prolific meeting note taker at work, apparently too much :'( I started using this on March 1, it’s now March 10, I have 13 pages left. Guess I’ll try a 7×9 for work notes next!

Cute and pretty
Very cute, elastic closure, gold shiny starts on covers, smaller than I thought it would be, but doesn’t take away from my 5 star review because it is still a good size. Is exactly as pictured. Would buy again.

Sturdy with good quality paper for writing on. The cover is just beautiful. I bought these as extra presents for my daughters at Christmas to use as reflective journals but my sons were jealous & want one now as well😊 Highly recommended.
