The greatest thing since sliced bread!
Purchased my Plaud Note AI Voice Recorder in September, 2025, and immediately fell in love with it! My wife and I are in our 80’s and not surprisingly have a lot of medical appointments. No longer do we get home and ask each other “What did the doctor say about that?” If you’re my age you know I’m talking about. The Plaud is small, the size of a credit card, and fits nicely in a shirt pocket. You turn it on when the physician comes in and turn it off when you leave. The Plaud app the captures the recording, runs it through AI, and generates a report that is amazingly concise, complete and correct. And it picks up everything – even things I didn’t hear clearly in the conversation with the doctor. Unfortunately, after a month it stopped working. But, again, good news! I contacted tech support, provided them with the serial number, and they sent me a new device which I’m now using. As good as any tech support I’ve ever dealt with. No hassles or hoops to jump through. I’m a happy user, and only wish I had some stock in the company!

I literally use this EVERYDAY at work to assist with my daily operations and routines.Recalling information shared during phone calls, interviews, one-on-one consultations, and debriefs between colleagues has become easier than ever. Plus the templates you can utilize to analyze the information recorded helps break down talking points, observations with room for improvement, and actionable feedback to help you improve. Scenarios, seminars, classes, lectures, meetings, and presentations have become so much easier to focus on with this device taking my notes. I can literally focus on what is being said rather than what I am writing and worrying about missing something important.I have realized, in a very short time, the deficiencies in my work environment and have utilized this tool to create a detailed plan and operational solutions. Best tool for meetings! I used to try to keep handwritten notes.. usually chickenscratch by the end, tried voice recording, rarely went back to listen to those. Now I keep my Plaud glued to the back of my phone and I have a relevant summary, a transcript, even suggestions on unclear or pending items. I incorporate it to my weekly reports and use it to develop roadmaps for my team. I then gave one to all my department heads to keep track of important calls and follow ups. Bonus: Their support team is awesome.

Worth it, but consider the cost of the app as well as the cost of the device before purchasing.
I had my doubts, but this worked better than I thought it would. I am a SPED teacher in the Philippines, and I needed something to help a student who struggles with writing take notes. This not only takes notes but can also classify different topics within the same meeting. The only errors I have seen so far are in the spelling of names and some minor details. One class was a planning session for a drama—a lot of noise and chaos. One person was listed as playing a part that wasn’t. I am impressed; however, a human absolutely has to review for these types of errors.**Before you buy, consider the cost of the app. It isn’t just the cost of the device; the app works on a per-minute basis, and the template for how the AI transcribes the notes is separated into basic and premium options. There are reasonable options for buying minutes.

I would definitely order through Amazon- if you order direct and want it shipped to an office building their subcontractor shipper won’t deliver it to an office. Amazon- no problem. Product works well. Microphone picks up sound very well.
