Extremely easy to use, portable and I can’t live without it
I just recently received this and already I can’t live without it.! I pack it up in my work bag and carry it all around with me or it goes with me when I head out the door to friends houses, shopping, wherever I need to go.Not all coffee places make blended drinks and those who do ( SB, among others) tend to overcharge for them. Now I can order any drink on ice, pour it into this cup and make it Into a blended drink.I always lived for Icee’s or any blended drinks really. However, I do not like drinks over ice because they get watered down too fast. This way now, I can blend it and it comes out just right every time.The blender cup is insulated and the lid has a spout to drink from or put your straw through ( not included). It also has a handle to carry it around with or the handle has a tab that pushes open and allows you to clip that handle onto a bag or item so you do not have to carry. The point being that after you blend your drink, you can drink straight from the blender without having to pour it into another cup and the insulated cup does keep your drink on the frozen side longer than if you were to place it into another cup unless it too is insulated.You also get a smaller, glass type cup that you can make a smaller drink with. This one is clear and allows you to take off the insulated/blender lid and place another drinking lid on top so you can remove the weight of the blender attachment which is part of the insulated lid with a handle/clip. You can use this other lid on the insulated cup as well. You just won’t have the handle or clip-on available on the plain lid.Blending takes less than 40 seconds. You place your drink inside the cup and add ice. Only go up to the 15 oz marker inside the cup or else you will not be able to get the lid on without spilling. Then you screw on the lid. Next flip it over so the lid is on the bottom and push the button on. The blender turns on for 40 seconds and turns itself off automatically so as not to overheat or over blend.When time is up, the green light comes on and it’s ready. You can drink straight from the cup, or pour it into another.Some times ice can get jammed under a blade which will cause the machine to turn off and the light to turn red. This happens so the blender does not overheat and tell you to fix it. Usually, I just tip it upside down and back to remove the ice that’s stuck and if the light goes back to green, it’s fixed so I can push the button again. If it stays red, you will need to remove the lid and remove the ice or whatever caused it to stop. If the light is red, it won’t allow you to turn it on again. If the light is green, you only have to push the button again to start the 40 seconds over. If you stop during a drink a few times, you most likely won’t need the full time at the end because you have actually used the blender longer than a total of 40 seconds so keep this in mind.This kit comes with the insulated cup and the clear glass cup. A blender lid and a normal lid. A USB cord for charging and an instruction book. Everything you need to get started.This item is very well built. All the items included are also well made. The motor seems to be strong. It’s strong enough to blend ice on rechargeable power. The blades seem small and I was doubtful it would work but it does. Granted, it does get jammed a bit often but, as long as you just turn it over to allow the ice to remove from the blades, you’re good to start again without making a mess or opening the lid.This item is extremely handy and I love to turn everything into a blended drink. Things I would NEVER consider while at home. I mean, I have a blender and ice yet, I rarely use it because it’s large and bulky, and a pain to clean and mess with. This item is very handy and very portable and I get so much use from it. At work, I can take whatever iced coffee drink I get there and whip up a blended one in seconds. I literally have to hide my portable blender or else my coworkers will drain the battery every day.If you enjoy your drinks blended, this will change your life!

Weak blending power
On the one hand, the construction of this portable blender is good. It feels durable, and I’ve had no problems with the insulation. I like that the instruction manual includes recipes, and the safety feature (the blending function doesn’t work unless the lid is properly secured onto the tumbler) makes me less nervous about cleaning it by hand. However, as far as blenders go, it just…isn’t very good, especially with solids and powders. I flipped it upside down as instructed, but even after multiple blending cycles, it failed to properly blend bananas (I split them up into chunks beforehand and everything, and ensured the blender wasn’t overfilled). I also wish the blade was detachable – it would make cleaning easier.Overall, this would be a great blender…IF it blended properly.

Smoothies on the go, or even home with super easy cleanup …
I love smoothies, but not a fan of cleaning the blender after making one. I’m also usually somewhat spontaneous about making them, and this helps make it a quick hassle free experience. Add to that having the ability to make them on the go (camping, etc) makes this a great option if it lives up to its claims.My first experience was … filled the tumbler with just a little ice, frozen vanilla yogurt, some blueberries and a few strawberries and a splash of milk. Putting the top (blender part) on I could tell it was pressing against the strawberries. Push the button and … blinking lights. Consult the manual and it says ”remove lodged ingredients from the bladder and restart”. It called me out on pushing the limits of the “Max” fill line … Lol. I removed a strawberry and viola it works.It’s a 24oz tumbler but you do have to leave room for the “blender” top to work it’s magic, so really you’re getting a 15-18 oz smoothie.I flip and wait and it really was 30-40 seconds, and very quiet. I open the tumbler and was pleased to see a perfectly blended smoothie. Poured it out, rinsed the blender part and washed the cup and thats all the cleanup necessary. This is a game changer over dragging the blender out and all the cleanup that requires.I’ll easily rate this 5 stars, and highly recommend!
