These are pretty good! Densely packed, nutrient rich MEALS. Not flimsy little snack or protein bars. But actual meals. Further down in review I include the ingredients for EACH PRO MEAL BARPurchased 07/2022 (and another box nearly right away that I am waiting on because I loved it with first bite), with expiry date of 01/2023. I ordered from the warehouse, and so it was expected that these may have a shorter time frame over others ordered direct. Curious what the ones I am waiting on to arrive will say. I will update this if it is totally different.I chuckle at the one review where it cautions that these are “double size and calories of other bars”. Well, YAY! that sounds good to me! I am spending good money for CALORIES. And they are calories from good ingredients. “This PROBAR provides fruits, nuts and seeds to make it delicious, satisfying and nutritious. It’s rich in raw ingredients and the right nutrient-dense calories for lasting energy and nourishment.”Natural tasting, not too sweet, can taste various ingredients, not like a candy bar, not just a protein bar, has fats, protein, fiber, carbohydrates, and a good hearty, dense, chew. Easy to chew, though that will depend on your teeth. I like the flavor- it isnt scrumptious, but it tastes like something I would construct at home, but better. LOOK at all these wonderful ingredients. If you need a candy bar taste, then skip these.I use them on the go, a bite here and there. Tastes doesnt linger, not sticky or annoying. Not dry. Just perfect level moist. I can bend off a piece and pop into my mouth. Wraps back up nicely.The nutritional information is on each packet. They provide info for eating whole or half a bar. I work a physical job where it is hard to sit down and eat, but I get hungry, and so I rely on snack bars and such to power me through. What I like about this is that it has a variety of nutrients. It isnt just a basic snack bar, or an overpriced, over caloried protein bar. I feel like I am actually eating something good for me. Pairs nice with some cut up fruit, yogurt (chop part of the bar up to sprinkle on top). Sometimes I add in a soft beef jerky/stick. Looks like this brand has a bunch of interesting products such as crisps, chews, energy bars, protein bars, and these meal bars. Has piqued my interest!Also good as an emergency food (keep in car, or even for in house), camping, traveling, hiking, etc I originally found these while looking for a food item to put in with my “bug out bag” and car emergency bag. I have a couple of rodent proof containers that I store some easy to eat food items in. I rotate out and replace as needed. Not limited to emergency but also for times when I just cant get somewhere for food. I pack packets of peanut butter, packets of jam, and then add in snack bars and/or dried fruit. Going for a GORP-esque arrangment (good old raisins and peanut butter). I look for something with good mouth feel, taste, and offers nutrition. I stumbled upon these and thought they looked like what I was going for. Now that I have tried them (love that they offer a variety pack), I will buy more of the ones I love, and will be using them for my everyday life, not just for prepping my car, hiking bag, bug out bag.This variety pack has ONE EACH of their variety pack. Try them all, buy more of what you like best or buy another variety pack if you like them all. Really great way to be introduced to the MEAL offerings. Would love to see a sample or variety pack of all their stuff.Anyway, I just dont see anything wrong with these. Comes down to preference, and then individual experience as it pertains to freshness, shipping etc.I dont know why they dont include the nutrition info on the product page. They do for individual listings, but not for the variety. They do the same thing on their website. But it is very easy to navigate and find the info you may want. I include the ingredient list. If you want more detailed nutritional profile, look for the individual product (or go to their website). These are the best meal-replacement bars that I could find on the market. All whole and organic ingredients and the perfect mix of carbs, healthy fats and protein to keep you feeling full and energized in a busy day. I keep a few of these in my car and baby bag at all times and they have save many a “hangry” moments and make me a happier person in general. I love the flavor and texture and love that nothing in them “melts” in my car. I’ve recommended these to many people. Thank-you Probar!PS.
