Great for side sleepers very soft
I recently picked up this eye mask and what stands out first and foremost is how soft and comfortable it feels. The fabric is smooth against the skin, with a gentle, plush touch that makes it easy to forget you’re even wearing it. It molds nicely around your face without any rough edges or stiffness.For side sleepers, it’s particularly well suited. When I sleep on my side, I often worry about the edges of the mask pressing into my pillow or shifting uncomfortably—but this one seems to maintain its shape and stays in place nicely. The soft cushioning prevents any hard contact between the strap and my temples or cheeks, which helps me stay in side-position without waking up irritated.The blackout effect is also decent: the mask’s material and fit block enough light that on my side, even when the pillow shifts a bit, I don’t notice daylight creeping in from the edges. The softness helps the mask “hug” the face in a gentle way, which helps maintain that light-free zone.

Nicely made, weak sound
Every so often I find myself ordering a Bluetooth sleep headband because I like the idea of it, only to be disappointed when i actually try wearing it for whatever reason, usually having to do with fit or comfort. At first I was pleasantly surprised with this one as it feels great and fits my large-ish head comfortably. The silk is truly soft and the adjustable band ensures a perfect fit. It also seems to have a much lower profile main component than other (cheaper) bands, which additionally helps with comfort and is more aesthetically appealing. So far so good!If only the speakers themselves weren’t so underpowered. Unless you’re wearing this with your head pressed against a pillow (or with the band adjusted uncomfortably tightly), the output is just too weak to hear anything well, much less help in masking any intrusive sounds – even when the speakers are adjusted to sit right on top of my ears..I don’t always sleep on my side – like when I’m trying to sleep sitting up on a plane, for example – and when the mask is worn otherwise you can hardly hear anything coming through the speakers, even with the volume on my phone cranked up to the highest level. I suppose that’s ultimately a limitation of the small drivers on these sorts of flat speakers, and not the fault of this product, which is otherwise very well made (and nicely packaged besides.) But unfortunately the weak sound is a dealbreaker for me. So the search for the perfect Bluetooth sleep headband continues …

Made for larger heads than mine
I ordered two, one for my partner, and one for myself. His is perfect, he is comfortable, and he says the sound is great. He wears it all night, and the charge lasts for 3 nights running. In the other hand, mine is too loose and can’t be cinched any smaller. It won’t stay on my head, let alone have the speakers line up with my ears. I’m VERY disappointed. ☹️

Feels like an upgrade
I am somebody who uses a CPAP full face mask as well as a sleep mask to sleep every night. I sleep on my back half the time, and my side the other half. I find this mask an improvement over one that I used for over a year before it stopped charging. This doesn’t have eye cups, but with the silk you are still able to move your eyes around without feeling pressure on them. When I wear this mask I have zero ambient light coming through whatsoever. I find the fit snug, I have what I would consider a huge head so I have to max out the sizing of the strap. Because of this I wake up with red lines on my cheeks, but that does not mean that the experience was uncomfortable. I would say that the mask has given me a deeper sleep, I sleep through the night better with this than the last mask I used. It sounds better and the speakers are in a location where I don’t have to mess with them every night to get it right when I am tossing and turning. The charging mechanism of unzipping the top is innovative, and feels like a better solution than digging around inside the side of the mask for a power cord. I find this worth the cost because of the upgraded functionality over a model that I used happily for over a year. I bought this with the intention of trying it, and if it didn’t work I’d switch back to what I knew, but I ended up keeping it and now telling friends about it.

I’m confused, how am I supposed to hear the speakers when they are positioned (lined up) to the back of my head and not my ears. And it slips right off.
