My purchase: weighted blanket, dimensions 48x72in, weight 15lbs, polyester and ceramic materials, jacard and sherpa texture in sage green.What I like :)☆ I was drawn to this blanket for the color and softness! The “sage” green doesn’t show well in my pic but it’s close to the listing image. I very much like the jacard side softness.☆ The weight is plesant (15 lbs.), and although it’s not initially what I wanted, now I’m glad that I didn’t buy a 20-pounder to haul into my doctor’s office.☆ It seems well sewn. The squares are about 6x6in. Moving the blanket, it’s pretty quiet. It’s easy to adjust.☆ I’m 5’3″ and the 48x72in suites me just fine for reclining or bed.☆ I frequently feel overheated, and, despite it being made of polyester, it doesn’t seem to trap heat too badly. We’ll see about when my feline heater comes to lay on me…☆ Despite concerns next addressed, it seems overall well made. This is my first weighted blanket, but from what I’ve researched it seems decent value for $50 or so.What I like less :(× Spot cleaning is recommended. I wanted machine washable, and, while technically it is, the 15lbs direction is to “commercial machine wash”—not very convenient. Tumble dry low is an option. (It does not include a removeable, washable cover.)× The reverse of the jacard side is sherpa style, which I overlooked at purchase. While it is soft, my hands are often dry, and then it feels a bit scratchy. Also, time will tell whether it remains fluffy looking with use or kind of matted (like my cheap sherpa-accented house robe).
