Brings me back to my Game Boy days!
I started playing Tetris on the first Game Boy, it was so addicting. Having it on my wrist is really cool. The gameplay takes a minute to get used to and then it really gets going. I get a ton of people asking about it and they are impressed and want one also. The band has a nice soft feel to it.

very nice and simple watch that can be recharged.it has a learning curve. make it’s charged for like a whole day before using it. lower the settings down to minimal and mine lasted about 5 days and it still had about 52% percent.it’s a bit big

battery issues on all ‘my play watches’
hard to recommend. just as my space invaders and retro gaming watches are with the same problems, the battery is really an issue on all of them. i kept the other 2 anyways, but kinda wish i just returned them as well.the issue with the battery on all of them(so far), the capacity info isn’t accurate. you can charge it all you want and it’ll tell you that it’s 100%, then you find out it doesn’t even last a whole day and it’s drained already.what i’ve found out so far is that you’ll have to reboot to know a new battery charge amount. every time it says it’s 100% you’ll have to reboot to get a different amount every time.it’s just really too bad that most businesses nowadays are just more of a scam than necessity… REALLY.

Very comfortable and unique watch.
This is the fourth My Play Watch I’ve been given the opportunity to review. I’ll compare this Tetris edition to my Atari 2600 watch and Space Invaders watches, but you’ll have to check out my other reviews for in depth specifics about each edition.So far, this is my favorite watch out of everything I’ve recieved from My Play Watch. It seems like they’re hitting their stride now and polishing up some rough edges the previous editions had. As with the Space Invaders varients, the case is made out of metal and glass. The band is a very nice silicone. Overall it’s extremely comfortable to wear all day. I found the touch screen to be more responsive than the other ones I’ve tried. Even with my large fingers, I was able to use the calculator with it’s tiny “buttons” easily. This will track a few biometrics, such as heart rate and steps. You can set a “step goal” and even adjust stride to customise the step tracker to your personal body movements. This is the first My Play Watch to feature this big improvement. It will make the step counter more accurate. The screen is easy to navigate through the various apps and controls. Last but not least, the game is the main selling point here. I found it to be very true to the original and plenty fun & easy to play while wearing the watch. Probably the biggest improvement this Tetrtis edition holds over the previous watches offered by this company is the fact that it will still keep time when powered down. It was extremely annoying that I always had to re-set the date & time on my Atari and Space Invaders watches every time I powered down the OS. With this one, I can just turn it off when I go to bed and turn it back on in the morning. This also helps with battery life, since I’m not constantly leaving it on, even when I’m not wearing it. I also appreciate the fact that the price has stayed consistent throughout the entire lineup. I’m very pleased with this Tetris edition. It’s definitely the best one yet. I can’t wait to see what’s next. I’d love to see some NES or Sega watches come out. Hint hint… Giving it a solid 5 stars!

Fun concept, poor execution.
Fun idea, poor execution. The tetris game on the watch is not very good, it’s scaled way down and uses the touch screen for some reason when the crown could have very easily been used for controls instead, and the battery life is terrible. Got maybe 6 hours out of it, making it effectively entirely useless as an actual daily use watch. But if you like tetris like I do, you’ll probably buy it anyway.
