My daily tea for 15 years—and still my favorite
I’ve been drinking this tea every day for over 15 years. It started as a replacement for an Aveda green tea I loved (which was sadly discontinued), and I’m so glad I found this. The Tropical Green Loose Tea by Harney & Sons has the perfect balance of flavor—lightly fruity, smooth, and never bitter. Whether I’m brewing a hot cup in the morning or making iced tea in the summer, it never disappoints. It’s fresh, fragrant, and consistent. After all these years, it’s still the only green tea I drink.

Delicious Quality Tea
This tea tastes very refreshing. I have purchased this tea several times. It is always very fresh quality tea. We purchase other flavors from this company as well. I like to drink my drinks without sugar. The tea flavor is so delicious it does not require sugar.

Delicious tea!
This tea is so good for iced tea. It tastes very similar (might even be the same!) to Dutch Bros. green tea. It smells awesome and tastes delicious. I use it in my Keurig in a reusable metal k-cup. I pack it pretty tightly and crush/break down the leaves as I pack them in, just to ensure a more robust flavor. I also use the robust setting on the Keurig, as well as the highest heat setting. Since Keurig doesn’t allow for true steeping (which is really the ideal way to brew tea), I find that this workaround (i.e. robust and high heat settings) does a pretty good job of getting the tea strong enough to then be poured over ice. I recommend using purified water both in the Keurig and in the ice. This will ensure a crisp, clear, beautiful iced tea. I have never used this tea for hot tea, but I bet that would be yummy too… if you’re a hot tea kind of person!

Okay, But Not As Flavorful as Bagged
This loose tea is not as flavorful as the bagged tea I have used for a couple of years (same brand). Guests seem to like it okay, but not the same for me. I tend to brew it stronger to get more flavor out of it, but this is not optimal. Tried mixing it with their Earl Grey, but tropical flavor is simply over powered by the citrus.

This tea is aromatic and enjoyable to sip – this from someone who usually doesn’t like tea all that much. One oddity – the directions on the package are different for Japanese sourced and Chinese sourced but it doesn’t say what the source of the tea in the bag is
