What a beautiful set! My daughter took them, but she adores them so I’m very happy with the purchase. They match her favorite other brand of stackable bracelets (enewton), and it brings them all together beautifully! Excellent quality for the price and they fit perfectly! She wears them all the time, and the finish is still very shiny and beautiful. So far they are very duable bracelets and excellent for daily wear without weighing you down at all! A beautifully golden, yet typical import- too small sized elastic bracelet set.
These bracelets are very very pretty at first glance. Unfortunately, upon further evaluation they look and feel like they are maybe made for preteens. They are very short in length- they need at least another inch to properly fit a regular sized American woman. Instead, they are tight and I mean uncomfortably, unwearably so. If you’re looking for a gift for your thin niece who’s just graduated to begin middle school, and likes plain proper gold toned jewelry, well maybe you’ll enjoy these once you take them out of their baggies and gift them nicely. They arrived in your standard imported bulk items packaging- just little baggies. Nothing that arrives giftable, you’d need to re-package these to put them together as any kind of present. They are very lightweight, which is usually a plus in jewelry, but here they just feel like plastic costume jewelry. They should feel more substantial. The elastic they are strung on is super thin, so much so, I’d be afraid to wear these in water, or while doing any kind of physical activity like dancing for any length of time. The individual bracelets are underwhelming as well. The set I ordered has several bracelets of different size gold colored balls and a couple that have long bars in them with the balls. I ordered this particular grouping because I liked the look of the bars along with the balls, they looked just a bit more original as a set. I was disappointed to see that the bracelets with the bars only contained one bar in each bracelet, making them look cheap. They should have had at least two bars, even if the bars were shorter, just so you could have a nice pattern and wouldn’t have the urge to keep centering the bar on your wrist. That would drive me crazy! It should be able to be worn as part of an easily moving around grouping. All is not lost however, as the beads themselves are actually really pretty. The gold color is pretty much right on the button for a 14k look- not brassy or too yellow at all. They have no seams or burrs, the individual beads look nice and not like cheap costume beads. If you’re creative at all, you can use these beads to make some better looking pieces- like two bracelets and a pair of matching earrings. Remember though, you’d only have two bars in total to work with- meaning one bracelet or one pair of really neat earrings. As far as longevity, or fear of tarnishing, it would be a guess. Considering the way the rest of the items are, I wouldn’t have high expectations, so don’t wear these in water. Or for the price, go ahead and wear these because you know, YOLO, so take a chance and just wear and enjoy them, knowing they will are not likely to be passed down as an heirloom one day. All in all, if you’re super thin, small, or not physically like a full grown American woman, you might be able to carry this off. They do look much nicer on than your standard drugstore fashion. If you have expectations of something that looks and feels like fine jewelry, save yourself and take a pass. If you like the look and are either able to rework the beads, or have a use for decently gold toned small, fragile dainty bracelets, well here you’re in luck. As far as if I’d prefer a do-over, after seeing and handling these, yep, I might take a pass, I have enough gold toned beads.
