My Favorite Leggings
I have been buying Yummie products for years. I first found them on a home shopping channel. These leggings are substantial, have very nice compression, and have a high cotton content making them more comfortable to me and a nice alternative to most leggings that are mostly polyester.

My new favorite leggings
These leggings are amazing. My favorite go to leggings were recently “updated” to a different style with thr original discontinued. So ive been searching for a thicker cotton/spandex thicker material legging with a high waste band, and its been difficult finding a legging that i loved. But these Yummie Rachel leggings are exactly what i was looking for. They are nice opaque legging that fits like a glove, well made and offer nice overall support with a great thick waste band. Overall im very happy with my purchase and plan to order another set. As long as they hold up well after a few washings i plan on getting every color. I typically wear a Medium legging in Victoria Secret and old navy and ordered a large in this brand and its an overall great fit.

Better than Spanx
Finally found the perfect leggings! Size up one size from what you usually buy as everything in this brand except the underwear runs really small. I bought these leggings after watching a Youtuber compare different leggings that she wore postpartum. These were her favorite, and now they’re mine too. I had just bought and returned some Blanqi leggings that felt like I’d just put on a pair of tights. Last year I bought and returned the Zella live in leggings as they did nothing for me and it felt like wearing scuba gear. I have some Pink Rose leggings that are extremely soft and look nice, but don’t provide any sort of compression or tummy coverage. I have the Spanx faux leather leggings and, while they are quite good, these Yummie leggings are better. First the material is nice and soft, yet thick and opaque. I had my 4th baby last year and this covers my mom tum perfectly and never rolls down like the Spanx will sometimes do. They’re high waisted and have just the right amount of compression that isn’t constricting , yet holds things together nicely. Since buying these leggings, I’ve proceeded to purchase 2 more pairs of these, 3 pairs of the ankle length ones that are otherwise identical to these, some Yummie underwear, and a Yummie compression tank. The Yummie underwear are true to size and amazing. They’re soft, stretchy, and make it feel like you have nothing on, yet still provide compression. The Yummie tank top, I sized up in and it’s still tiny. It looks like it would fit my 8 year old, and honestly it probably actually would. I understand the idea is compression, but it’s a little extreme with the tank. That said, aside from the tiny tank, I’ve been very pleased with Yummie and can’t wait to try more products in the brand’s lineup.

Sturdy fabric, supportive fit
I’m going back to school in my 30s, which obviously led me to leggings-as-pants jealousy- somehow every 19 and 20 year old has at least one great pair of non-see-through black leggings. Now, I haven’t made it into the rec center in my time on campus, so I don’t have a 19-year-old’s body. Usually leggings slide down on me if they’re not good quality and a little big high-waisted. I also get a bit of a muffin roll in unkind pants.I’ve tried leggings that go for over $100 before, but, while they were pretty nice, maybe not enough for the price. I found these after a quick google search for “best black leggings.” The article recommended these in particular in the tummy support category. They also recommended ordering a size up.On to proper reviewing:Sizing: I’m usually a 29 in jeans or a L in pajamas and lounge pants. I got an extra large in these.Opaque: yes! Fabric feels thick- not to the point of being too warm on a moderately nice day. Probably could be nice for yoga. I’m not sure how the fabric performs compared to leggings advertising performance fabrics. It feels heavy on the cottony end of the cotton/poly/spandex blend of most leggings, but with enough synthetics to bounce back.Fit: overall, snug without being spanx or a true compression tight. No slipping down in the thighs. A secure hug kind of feel in that area. The waistband itself was a bit looser. It still gives me a tummy control effect because it’s a thick smooth fabric over that area, but it wasn’t necessarily squeezing that area in like women’s garments like to say they will. Because of the waist, I’d consider sizing down if I decide to order another pair, but I would be worried about the thighs being too tight in that case. I also noticed that the back of the waistband seems lower than the front. If I wore crop tops, I’d be slightly worried about the back of the waist showing too much if I was sitting or bending over. This could also possibly be fixed with a tighter fit in the waist, which could just be a size or body proportion issue. I’m about 5’6”, and length is usually not a huge issue for me with leggings, and these, like most, were just fine in this area.Quality/value: overall, these really feel sturdy and useful for anything from loungewear to part of a cute put-together outfit to yoga wear. They came packaged on a paperboard sleeve like they would be displayed in the “accessory” section of a store, which is usually a red flag for me, but I’m pretty impressed with them. Presuming they keep their fit and shape, they seem like an excellent choice for their price range and I’d definitely consider buying them again.

Highly recommended, for postpartum especially
Bought these as postpartum leggings and I absolutely love them. They do fade in the wash, so I’d give them a 4.5, but the fit is so great (tummy control top) that I don’t mind the fading. They hold in everything so well. Highly recommend! Great price when they go on sale. I bought 4 pairs at half off. I don’t find them to be sheer, and they are super comfortable in my opinion. I could live in these.. Try em! If you don’t like them, Amazon has an amazing return policy.

Good leggings but beware of holes
I loved these leggings so much that I took the tag off immediately without realizing there was a hole in the crotch. I’m assuming it was there right away and I didn’t notice because I had the leggings on for less than hour, either way, there shouldn’t be a hole. It’s a shame because the leggings are not see through, plus they are very flattering and compressive especially for a high cotton legging. It’s definitely true size. Just beware of holes before wearing because I wish I could exchange them.

I have 2 pair
I got a second pair. Comfortable looks great and thick and not sheer at all can wear in warm and cold weather because cotton is breathable. Control top was perfect for postpartum belly.

Slightly more see through than previous pairs I have bought, think they are a slightly different design, but still comfortable and do the job needed.

I might have kept these if they were $30 but I can’t justify spending $60 on basic cotton leggings. The #1 issue is that they are quite sheer, not only is the panty line obvious but you can also clearly see the colour variation between your legs and underwear. At this price I was expecting to be able to wear these leggings as pants not stockings. The second issue was the lack of compression, I wear a 10-12 in jeans and ordered a large and they hug my stomach like maternity pants – there is no compression, so I guess size down? but then you might as well buy shapewear since it would probably do a better job and you have to wear these under clothes anyway. They are a nice satiny cotton and appear to have solid stitching but so do my 6 year old leggings from Garage that cost 20 bucks.
