Great little appliance!
Works as advertised. The device makes it very easy to use both to decarboxilate the weed and to infuse that into oils or butter. It takes away all the worry about keeping your temperature correct. Processing times are built in both for the decarb and infusions. It’s all pre- programed. Also the canister seals with a rubber top. This minimizes odor. Easy to store. Washes up with soap and water.

Works great for herbs
This machine really takes the guess work out of decarbing my flower, very easy to use and consistent results, great for a first timer. I didnt really want to pay 200 bucks for a name brand machine as it was my first time making edibles and I didn’t want to commit to an expensive machine if it wasn’t going to work out for me.I REALLY didn’t want my house to smell while trying to figure out how to decarb in an oven since we arent exactly in a legal place and im still an edible novice this product really helps with that. There is no smell while it’s working until you release the lid and hoo boy you can really smell what’s cooking. I put it in my garage to decarb so when I open it my house doesn’t stink. I just light a candle before I open the lid and leave it lit after I remove the product once it’s cooled (pet odor eliminater candles work great to cover the smell).So far I have only used it to decarb and infuse butter and oil and it works just fine. If you are interested in making edibles this is definitely a worthwhile investment.

The best dedicated decarb device
I like having a dedicated decarb device for herbs. This machine is easy to use and comes with a handbook and automatic settings that make everything fool proof – even for beginners. It looks and acts like a little slow cooker, but with settings specific for decarbing herbs and making oils. No one wants to burn a batch of expensive herbs with less consistent baking methods (like I did, it’s why I ordered this.) First use, I was paranoid about the smell, so set it on the front porch with an extension cord. I love the included heavy silicone lid, which seals with a press in the middle to lock in any odor – I can use it inside very discreetly, no smell! The Ecru machine has produced perfect, evenly toasted herbs every time. I decarb the herbs using the automatic setting, stir, then add coconut oil and start it again using the preset for infusing oils. The result is a perfectly simmered, smooth, consistent batch of infused coconut oil that I can strain and use to bake treats. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decarb device.

No smell
This thing is the best! I’ve made edible multiple times. The timer and heat settings make this very easy to use. Cleaning is very easy. Just pop it out and put it in the dishwasher. The silicone lid keeps all the smell in the device. Only time I smelt it was when I opened it after it cooled. I would recommend it for making edibles.

Nice machine
Easy to use, works well, but still smells a lot during the decarb stage. Haven’t been able to figure out a way to use it to hide the smell.

Great all in one product !
After spending multiple hours looking through various infusers and other decarboxilator, I settled on this one. This machine does both decarboxilate (toasts) and infuses, it will not do tinctures. It is really straight forward, just load up your product, select the temperature (optimal temperature found in booklet and online) and now you have decarboxlated product, throw in some oil, adjust temp and time, and now you have infused oil to use for other goodies. Overall, very satisfied with the product, as it heats evenly, cleans easily and keeps smell minimal compared to an oven.

This is easy
I have waited to write this, because I hate those, “I just got it and can’t wait to use it” reviews. I got this and use it. so the TL;DR – This is easy to use, smells less, and makes your product utile for eating.The long story is that I got a lung disease that I find THC to be helpful with. In that it is a lung disease, I can’t smoke, and so I have been buying edibles since 2015. This stuff gets expensive, and so you get in space where you have to be cautious about how much you use, because you will run out.My wife is a non-user, and so doesn’t like me toasting pot in the oven and making budder in the slow-cooker. Thing is, my little decarber does all that. Do you get smells? Sure, especially if you can’t wait until the pan is cool. But comparatively? No odor.The benefit? I can buy a good strain of bud, decarb it, and then you can do whatever – make budder or oils, or like I do, just add the result to your food. I am saving money and getting the dosage I need.Here is a picture of some bud before and after, along with the unboxing that my Kat helped me with.Definitely would recommend!

Great machine, worked right out of the box. I also live in Australia, bought a transformer for 20 bucks works a treat. Some people need to think outside their box and adapt. Great quality.

Decarbed 1/2oz of bud, then infused for 4 hrs in coconut oil. Seemed to work well. The only thing is the 2 clamps on the side that lock the top on, these are plastic and don’t seem like they will last long but we will see.
