I’m extremely satisfied with this tea infuser. The stainless steel is top-notch, durable, beautifully crafted, and designed to sit perfectly in both cups and teapots with openings up to 3 1/2 inches. The cage holds anywhere from a teaspoon to 1/3 cup of tea leaves, giving you flexibility to brew a single cup or a full pot. Great for loose tea
These would probably work great for loose leaf tea but I bought these because we found out that Tazo tea bags contain microplastics. Since I had already opened my 6/pack of tea boxes, I wanted something to use instead of their tea bags. I cut open their tea bag and put in this tea strainer. The holes are very fine but small particles still get through. I believe natural tea bags would work better in this case.

Filters fine chamomile tea very well
Of the many tea infusers I considered, this one was the best, and I even bought a second one. It has the smallest holes (filtering the finest tea — I use it with chamomile), plus it has a good size cup, and is well made. The removable molded silicone protector on the lid also looks like good quality. I chose this one over other infusers. The Oxo infuser had larger holes. The 2-pack of Prudiut infusers (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZRBYGGM), which was a great value deal, also has tiny holes (on the sides), BUT the bottom unfortunately has larger holes and lets particles of chamomile tea through it.

These are the perfect size for my homemade “tea” of fresh ginger, fresh turmeric, lemon and various herbs. The little handles work with all of my mugs. Lids are great for steeping
